While I was at the bar during Staraoke, I was attempting to relay the story of the guy who kicked the ass of my car, but while pantomiming his kick, my foot came to rest on a wall that turned out to not only NOT be solid, but was actually flimsy enough for my foot to just keep on going until I left a giant HOLE around where my foot landed. This was easily the most embarrassing thing I've done in 2005 and probably the most mortified I'd made my wife and brother-in-law because they couldn't just pretend they didn't know me for the rest of the night. Fortunately, every staff member of the bar I attempted to show contritition and offer restitution to just got a big ass laugh out of it....which was probably even MORE embarrassing than if they'd gotten really pissed off at me instead. So....yeah. If you learn nothing from my example, learn that you should ALWAYS make sure your foot comes to rest on BRICK if you attempt to demonstrate how weakly the angry drunk guy kicks the back of your car before you think about backing over him.
I have to reiterate that I put NO power into this kick, but apparently there was enough weight behind it that....yeah. I'm uncomfortable reliving it right now, in fact.
Somehow this is probably his way of getting revenge on me remotely.
The sad part is, I STILL don't know why he wanted to throw down! One of life's great unsolved mysteries, ah s'pose.

Long story...short version? I had to pay the university for one of their walkway lights that I thought I could get my foot over....I couldn't much to the delight of my "friends".
As for the avatar..."Soylent Green is people!"

please, don't encourage everyone to come give me a swift kick in the ass, I have enough people who want to do so on their own.
But don't feel too bad, we were drunkenly demoing a wall once in my College days (and what better way to improve your house than when drunk). Everyone was taking turns putting, heads, fist, feet through the wall. When a couple of us picked up the smallest guy in the room and attempted to use him as a battering ram to put a hole in the wall. Needless to say, you can't alway count on studs being 16" apart.
So I guess its better to make a hole with your foot, than not to with your head. |
