Evidently you're not a Young Ones fan.

There are four Easter Eggs in this cartoon! Can you find them all?

(As a little bonus finding them gets you:

A short addition to the cartoon
A spooky ghost
A conversation during the ending sequence
A "mini-game")

I should have listened to spf2119 about HHH because he is the smartest Wiener around.

Since everyone else is doing it (ok, not EVERYONE, but...)

Vikings (2-5) - It's time to sweep! 11-5 baby! (Okay, maybe not.)
Badgers (6-3) - Well, we won one. Thanks for playing poorly Michigan State!
Buffy 7.5 earns a 9 out of 10 because Anya is really damn cool this season. The flashbacks were funny (another musical, Joss?). The continuity from past seasons was tremendous, and just about everything else clicked for me. Plus! Barely any Dawn!

Except that the show (to my knowledge, anyway) isn't ON BBC America. That's just where I found the recap.

It was a short-lived British sitcom from the 80's, which was subsequently replayed on MTV to a nationwide roar of approval. Videotapes and a new boxed-set of DVDs exist with all twelve episodes, and you really ought to stop reading this now and go hunt them down. They're THAT goddamned funny.

I believe "The Young Ones" played on Comedy Central, not MTV

Matthew: You would've loved it, David. A week in a foreign country, strange people, strange customs...
Dave: Oh, I know what you mean. I've been to Canada.

They may have aired on Comedy Central LATER, but their first US airings were on MTV. I have several of those episodes (slightly censored in some places) on tape.

they first aired uncut on MTV, then the BBC cut out some musical numbers, like the beatles and some of the more harsh racial humor, and some of the subliminal messages in the Comedy Central airings.

from most accounts, most of the cut stuff was put back into the VHS and DVD releases, like Dexy's midnight runners in BOMB

I have an MTV version of "Boring" on tape, and it definitely cut out the whole "That's white man's electricity you're using" segment. It was quite an eye-opener when I saw the uncut version on tape years later. The MTV versions _did_ have the music, however.

The "Bambi" episode is on my list of the five funniest things ever.

Now if someone would get around to releasing BOTTOM in an NTSC format, beyond the one episode on the new Young Ones DVD set...

Got em all. Plus there's more Easter Egg fun at the very beginning of the cartoon.

Gee, this was a tough one. Took me all of three minutes to go to the history channel store (store.aetv.com) and find it listed for $24.95. Glad I could help.
