WWE personnel were setting up a makeshift arena in a parking lot at Camp Victory, Baghdad, when three mortars were fired into a crowded street less than a block away. A number of people were injured in the attack; luckily none were members of WWE. Later in the day the 13 members of the WWE crew involved in the incident were presented medals from the Lieutenant Colonel in charge of the area where the attack occurred. The awards honor entertainers or those working in entertainment organizations who are involved in action while visiting troops during a war. Click Here (wwe.com - the video) * * * * * RVD's no dummy. Not overselling, not making it an "Oh my God!" thing. And Bravo to the troops for taking action to make the WWE staff safe.

He covered the war in Bosnia for CBS Radio back in the 90's, so you'd expect him to be fairly calm in a dangerous situation. (edited by Canard on 12.12.06 2011)

(edited by Canard on 12.12.06 2011) Yeah, I was about to say the same thing. Read an article on/with him once in one of WWE's publications a few years ago. The guy has seen a lot. Interesting stuff. Ofcourse it is hard to believe him to be calm and collected when he can go absolutely crazy when Undertaker SUDDENLY APPEARS IN THE RING! *sigh* Why bother?
Shitty, half, maybe quarter-assed recap this week. I really wanted to do a full one, but I've got way, way, way too much work on my plate. There probably won't be anything at all from me next week.
