| #1 Posted on 11.2.04 1611.38 | Instant Rating: 6.51 | This was printed from the header of the front page of the "Life & Arts" section of today's Seattle Post-Intelligencer:
"Here's your chance to see a former teen and preteen heartthrob in an initmate setting: Singer Jordan Knight, formerly of boy-band supergroup New Kids on the Block, makes a rare Seattle appearance tonight at Studio Seven, 110 S. Horton St., in the Sodo district. Knight performs songs from "Jordan Knight Performs The New Kids on the Block: The Remix Album," due March 30 on Empire Musicwerks, as well as some of his own tunes from a solo album coming out in June. The latter is the follow-up to his 1999 self-titled release on Interscope Records. Music starts at 8 p.m. with opening acts Drayton Michael and Jai-dai. Tickets are $15 at Ticketmaster, or $17 at the door. Knight also performs Thursday at the Fairhaven Pub in Bellingham."
"Jordan Knight Performs The New Kids on the Block: The Remix Album"?!?! Who OKed THAT? Aren't all the NKOTB fans in their 30s? Wouldn't they just go buy the ORIGINAL NKOTB CDs? I'm full of questions. And why Bellingham for his next gig? Could there BE a more random place for him to go. Did he HAVE to make a stop on the way to Vancouver (presumably)?

I know I am! Although I'd guess that most are really in their late 20s since I was in college when I went to see them and the age differential between us and everyone else was hilaaarious.

Yeah but I have them all already (including the hard-like-a-heart-attack NKOTB rap album! YOU GO DONNIE) so dammit give me remixes.

I remember a few of us getting sent to the principals office for writing FAG on this chicks New Kids book cover, that was third/fourth grade, 1990, so yeah. That era of Boy Bands were actully bought by girls, not 25 year old college grads. The older generation has a much better standards then mine.

Joey McIntyre also had a couple of solo records before joining the cast of Boston Public. |
