More famously known as the director of Bonnie & Clyde (imdb.com), among other great films. Died one day after his 88th birthday.

I love Bonnie & Clyde. Terrific movie.

Also Alice's Restaurant and Little Big Man, to name of his more famous pictures.

As great as B&C is, I do wonder what it would have been like if Warren Beatty had convinced Godard or Truffaut to do it.

What I think happened is that they cut out the penultimate segment and repeated the final one twice. I was zipping through the show on "not Tivo" and it went from the last three people and Colin had a commanding lead.
