These interviews are fantastic. Hour long interviews with both guys I mentioned, mainly focused on their journeys to WWE. Didn't realise Bryan became a vegan due to medical issues. Anyway, I thought they deserved a wider audience, only discovered them today. I apologise if this comes across as spam, that's not the intention at all.

Colt does a great job with these, he's said he's inspired by Marc Maron's WTF podcast and it shows, trying to do for wrestling what Maron does with comedy, but he's a very likeable host. I check them out if he has a guest I'm interested in. His interview with Beth Phoenix was great. The last one I downloaded was Shelly Martinez.

I just started listening to this a few months ago. The MVP interview was very good too. Made me remember how badly they messed up that character.

The Dolph interview cements him as my most favorite current WWE superstar. He's got a great attitude about the gimmicks he was handed.

Dolph and DBry seem like great dudes. And between Archer and Childrens Hospital, Dolph has the best taste in TV of any wrestler based on current precincts reporting.

The Luke Gallows and Domino usually get the highest recommendations. Great stories and their personalities are maybe not what you were expecting. Also Johnny Curtis revealed himself to be a really cool guy before Dirty Curty started.

Second for the Luke Gallows interview. I had only ever heard the name during one of CM Punk's promos last summer. I looked him up at the time and found out that he was the guy who played Festus, who I sort of remembered reading about but never saw on TV. Later I listened to the podcast and learned how hilarious and awesome he is. I have no idea how good of a wrestler he is or if he's comfortable enough doing live promos, but he'd be great at the whole 'playing an amped-up version of yourself' gimmick.

I also haven't seen Colt Cabana work a match since the earlier ROH days, but it was pretty dumb of WWE to do nothing with him. He's got midcard comedy guy written all over him and it seems he knows that and loves the idea. It's rare that somebody really wants to be a goofy wrestler and is really good at it.

Lloyd: When I met Mary, I got that old fashioned romantic feeling, where I'd do anything to bone her.
Harry: That's a special feeling.

Also worth watching are his "Creative Has Nothing For You" You-Tube Comedy Bits. Each one is about 90 seconds

Some of the best podcasts were actually with relatively unknown people, just guys from the indies.
The first one, with Shawn Daivari is great.
I had no clue the guy was that young when he got into the business and into WWE.
Johnny Curtis is also very good. That guy really wants to be a wrestler.
And I love a story Beth Phoenix tells about how Molly Holly helped her out when she started.

A lot of times, it shows that it's just two people talking, as they don't always get to the hard questions so to say, but just chat about life on the road, and stuff they've seen happen.

I knew guys like MVP growing up in high school. Very very few of them make it to their 30's let alone their 20's without getting locked up for life or killed. It's really good to see him come out a better person on the other side. WWE dropped the ball on him big time.

Thanks for recommending these and the Creative has Nothing skits.

Five Dollar Wrestling is awesome. Colt and Marty DeRosa & sometimes other wrestlers too watch indy matches giving them the MST3K treatment. Mr Hughes and Freight Train are frequent targets.

This reminds me of what's still one of the best promos of recent years, with Miz and MVP both completely ON! Miz talking about how he managed to make it in spite of all the disrespect and attempted burials. MVP responding with how HE made it after nearly falling off completely because of his incarceration. It's the kind of promo that should have easily made stars out of both guys and, instead, they wound up going all-in on Miz and turning MVP into a jobber. I'd weep for MVP, but he's made a good career for himself since walking away from The E. I'd rather hear that he's doing well in Japan than watch him trade wins with a clown like Jinder Mahal.

These podcasts are just amazing. I heard a couple and subscribing was a no-brainer for me. Now it's just a matter of playing catch-up with the archives.

That promo was amazing. I have been waiting for a Miz/Bradshaw match ever since.
