Any of you out there listen to Art Bell? I was just on his show talking about windmills :)

I LOVE Art Bell. His show on the tenth planet was unreal.
I also enjoyed the 'Group' of 13 surrounded by another group of 26.

| #5 Posted on 13.2.02 2017.30 | Art is always great to listen to. Art's GUEST hosts generally blow. But Art is awesome.
I see that you can listen to Art's show on XM Radio now. Imagine...I can make my Des Moines-to-Denver drive overnight without having to hop between four stations to keep the signal! | ironcladlou

Yeah, George Noory is particularly annoying. My work schedule is such that I end up being here on George's night, and home on Art's open lines night. Piss.

| #7 Posted on 18.2.02 1137.45 | My only Bell experience came from my days on 3rd shift (obviously). One of the older guys (in his 40's) had to listen to it while he worked. Most everyone else hated it.
Of course, by the end of the summer, this guy was blocking the dock exit (to the outside) with pallets of merch during the night so "the aliens couldn't see him." yeah.

| #8 Posted on 18.2.02 2315.48 | I can't get AM where I work, or else I would listen to him. Art Bell has retired and unretired more times than Terry Funk, or so it seems.
I think the Y2K nonevent kind of took the wind out of his sails for a while there...
Bill Savage went over to the (Stu Hart) house and one of the Hart kids was running around with his hair wet. Savage asked why his hair was wet. Stu said, "The little bastard broke a vase this morning, so I stuck his head in the toilet. Want me to show you again?" From the Ring Around the Northwest newsletter

| #9 Posted on 19.2.02 1558.44 | | Actually, I think having his son kidnapped or threatened to be kidnapped took the wind out of his sails. I recently started listening to him on occasion when I don't have to be up for class early, so I missed that drama other than a few headlines on Drudge. | ironcladlou
