Cue the plucky music, kids, because Jason Bateman and Michael Cera gave MTV some big news this week: The best TV comedy of the last decade is still alive.
“The ‘Arrested Development’ movie is not dead, au contraire,” the dearly deceased show’s star, Bateman, told us Monday. “[Over the weekend I had] a little phone call, just catching up, a little reaching out and touching.”
I personally think it would work better as a Direct-To-DVD release, myself, but I'll definitely take what I can get. Bring back the Bluths!
"Wocka Wocka...who wants to hear a funny-ass joke?"
I really liked this show, probably because Hank Azaria surprised me by not being his usual annoying Hank-Azaria-in-a-live-action-production self. I found him incredibly likable, and also enjoyed the would-be wingman whose name I'm forgetting.
