Finally, the long awaited Gob episode. Gob withheld from us in the early episodes the way Lucille withheld candy from Buster.
Of the 10 I've seen so far, I like this episode best because 1) It's Gob and 2) It felt the most like the first three seasons to me. Loved seeing the Veals again, Gob continuing as the "Christian Magician" he was when he went to Iraq in season 3, and his foray into being part of an Entourage.
But oh my, STEVE HOLT!!, the years have not been kind. It's only been seven years, man! What happened??
Ben Schwartz as part of Mark Cherry's Entourage is so very right.

Did they ... did they cut his hair to make him look more like GOB? At the very least? For his sake? (There is that one "On The Next" where he sees a picture of his father asks if that's what's going to happen to his hair.)
JOHN BEARD JR. Please come back in a Maeby plotline or something, oh my god.
They absolutely need to put Go Away Getaway on iTunes. I'll probably Showstealer it.
H E R ? is one of the all-time great visual gags.
I can't help but think Lucille's 07734 shirt number is going to pay off later somehow...

Not 100%, but it looked to me like a wig cap during some of the angled shots. Might have been wishful thinking, but the guy was only born in 1984.
Fantastic episode. Gob being too flustered to get out the line about the 30 dollar/6 thousand dollar/etc was amazing.

I thought the same thing. I definitely don't think it was real.
This episode, thus far, seemed to have the most callbacks to previous running gags. And I liked the ending too...I feel like the ending of this one set up more or teased more than any of the other previous ones.

Word is Steve was wearing a partial bald cap and a wig as a callback to a S3 episode where Steve saw Gob in a picture and made a comment about how he hopes he keeps his hair.

Not sure if this is in one of the other threads, and I still have the finale to go so it might be said in there, but if Lucille were to look down at her number 07734 it would read "hello", or Annyong if you were her Korean son.
