This was AWESOME. Maeby has always been the most underrated Bluth but her exploits might be the most fun of anyone's.

She's the only Bluth/Funke who seems to improve after the family breaks up and her (Anti) Social Network-like rise to power with George Michael/George Maharis (THAT gets explained) is fantastic. Plus it sheds a ton of light on the stuff Lindsay was doing with Herbert Love.

Maeby's Opie acceptance speech is [bleeping] amazing!

Also, Rebel Alley mentions Bryce Dallas and her pregnancies so they are indeed separate Howard daughters. (Though I now recall this was established earlier in a comment Ron made that his daughters were named after the places they were conceived.)

We get a priceless Maeby meeting with Barry Zuckerkorn, we see Maeby reunited with Steve Holt, AND we find out a bombshell NO ONE ever noticed: George Michael doesn't know who Lucille Austero is because he never, ever met Lucille 2.

WOW.

And Alia Shawkat is simply FANTASTIC in this episode.

Two Funkes and two registered sex offenders living in Sudden Valley.

With three more to go for me, I say right now this might be the best episode of the season. It's my favorite so far.

I thought the GOB episode prior, with all its tying up of loose ends from 4x1 was amazing, and then this came and blew that out of the water.

The twist with Perfecto was perfect.

Interesting that the election went from Love v. Austero to apparently Bluth v. Sitwell. I wonder if that will pay off by the end of the season. I suppose a Bluth in politics could be good fodder for the movie.

Does this mean Michael was the last to see Austero before she vanished? Will he even remember that he did?

I still can't believe George Michael had no idea who Lucille Austero was. The fact that Hurwitz held onto that fact is amazing.

Maeby being Lindsay's guru in India was amazing.

Aw. I went from cringing at the cruelty of that first joke about the duck to relieved to ultimately slightly bummed.

It's been really rewarding to see everything start to pay off in 11-13. Gangee 4: Facelift ... ohhhhhhhhh. "Freebie!"

The use of all five Richter quintuplets has been really cool too.

George-Michael and Lucille 2 were at the same Valentine's party with Marta and Carl Weathers. I guess they never mingled.

"Nah, I'll be fine." Exultant moment.

I'm doing a full rewatch, and this exchange happens in Pier Pressure:

Buster: Oh! So I thought maybe you could help me get some weed. It’s not for me. It’s for Lucille 2, my girlfriend.

George Michael: She’s your girlfriend? Dad said you were her nurse.
Season invalidated!

I actually just watched that episode the other day myself, and all George Michael says is what his dad says. He never indicates that he knew who Lucille Austero was or that he had ever met her. I'll admit that the way George Michael says it implies that he's seen Buster and Lucille together, but it doesn't require it. Still, if that happened, I wouldn't be too surprised if there's another scene somewhere that further invalidates it.

Doesn't the season 4 scene in question start with George Michael having no idea what the term "Lucille Two" means? Because in season 1 he does.

Well, he had been in college and away from the family for at least four years, so it could be that he simply forgot, but if I start having to make excuses for Hurwitz, then you (disappointingly) win.

I've been really surprised that no one has mentioned the plot line showing up from the novels: That wasn't the governor in the picture of his "daughter" that he burned. Also from the book:
