Fans of former WWE Women’s Champion Trish Stratus will get one more chance to see the reality series “Armed & Famous” which features the smoking hot diva as a police officer. The show was recently pulled by CBS for low ratings.
VH-1 has agreed, to air a five-hour marathon of the series this Saturday starting at 5 p.m. EST and will include the fifth episode that never aired on CBS.
“Armed & Famous” featured several celebrities as they trained and worked as police officers in Muncie, Indiana. The series started out strong in the ratings, but fell fast with the competition of American Idol.
It is also likely that VH-1 will air two more episodes which were scheduled to air on CBS.
I kinda lost track of the show cause it aired when I needed to work and my DVR of course will only record two sows at a time so it fell to the bottom of the list. It will be nice to catch up at least.
Why did they cancel the show instead of merely moving it to another day? It kind of shows how little faith the network people had in it.
My reasons for not watching was not because I wasn't interested: my schedule didn't permit it at the time, and my VCR eats tapes for dinner. I really wanted to get into it, but I'm saddened I won't be able to. Unless, of course, they put the series on DVD.
I've seen ONE movie so far this year: Borat - (5*)
