Okay, this will be interesting... Tonight, if the RSPW awards can be believed, the most hated man and the most beloved man amongst smarky smarky smark smarks both won World championships. So, will the PPV be an indication that McMahon listens to his fans or another example that the WWE is dying right before our eyes.
I mean, I'm not new to the 'net... I know everyone's going to condemn this show straight to hell, despite Angle winning a title, Booker and Goldust winning a title and HHH and HBK putting on yet another SWANK match. (How long until we can stop pretending like Michaels is gonna suck everytime he steps in the ring? Did we ever stop pretending that Shane McMahon was gonna suck?)
I don't know, the inevitable bitterness just seems a tad misplaced.
Welcome Christmas, bring your cheer Cheer to all Whos far and near Christmas day is in our grasp, so long as we have hands to clasp Christmas day will always be, just as long as we have we Welcome Christmas, while we stand Heart to heart and hand in hand
I don't know but I thought the Main Event was horrible. Just a bunch of hardcore match spots and tons of resting. Believe me, I wanted it to be great but I just thought it was so terrible.
In the interest of being positive, I will now point out the one thing from the PPV that made me happier than anything else not named Guerrero or Benoit:
Victoria now has the swankest entrance music ever. When I heard her coming out to Tatu I marked out like mad. I don't know who the hell came up with that inspired choice, but I think it's brilliant, and for that alone I will refrain from any negative comment despite having a host of negative thoughts on this card.
I'm surprised they ended the Big Slug experiment with the belt. I'd thought they'd have him hold it for another month to put it back on Lesnar. Hmm, Angle/Benoit for a World Title at Rumble. Hopefully, SD gets the 40 minute main event next month. Unless, they decide to make A-Train the #1 contender, in a battle over who gets to use the letter A in their name (remember WCW, remember WCW). Please kill the Al Wilson storyline, please. I still think they should have turned Booker heel, but, at least they finally paid off Booker/Dustin teaming up with a tag title victory.
I want you to know, I agree with everything I've just said.
T.A.T.U is a Russian band that is very popular in American "underground". I marked out completely when I heard that music, since I am a huge fan. That music alone makes Victoria my favorite female wrestler of all time.

We did not expect Angle, who was about to get surgery, to win.
Funny how no one is bitching about giving the title to another injured wrestler. If they were going to do that, why not just keep it on Lesnar last month?
Professional wrestling isn't a hobby. It's a lifestyle.

If Angle starts beating everyone on SD, and becomes a shell of his former self, and starts a lurid relationship with Linda M., then we will start bitching. Until then, I'll just call him the only guy to get a good match out of the Big Show.
The call is from heroism, will you accept the charges?
I'm not condemning the show straight to hell. Just the Al/Dawn Marie segment and the Kane/Batista match. The main event can go straight to Limbo. Everything else was okay to good.
As much as I liked Angle winning, it does seem dubious to give him the belt when he's injured. I have no idea where they're going with this now, and I'll be curious to see.
Re T.A.T.U., check out www.tatugirls.com. Apparently one of 'em was supposed to be on Heat, presumably to promote the song and their new album, but it got moved to next week.

THAT is the greatest single piece of news EVER. Now, if only the WWF(E) would give !~BENOIT~! a World Title, then all would be right with the world!

Geez- wouldn't THAT be a mistake... at least HHH can KIND OF cut promos, and the Show had Paul talking for him... Benoit with the belt could be, perhaps, one of the most BORING things the WWE could possibly do at this point...
3 out of 5 Statisticians agree- Statistics are all bull$hit! "Pool-Boy"
I don't know, I thought Benoit's promo about what the title means to him a few weeks ago beat the hell out of 20 HHH "I am big and bad and everyone on earth should fear me game assassin that damn good ROAAAARRRR!" promos. Benoit will never be Rock or Austin on the mike, but if given the opportunity, he can convey a sincerity that I believe vests the title with a legitimacy that no amount of over-the-top catch phrase fests can do.
No offence, but the much-touted Benoit promo wasn't actually that good. In fact, it sucked. It was just a guy sitting there saying pro-wrestling "hard work" cliches in a pretty damn monotonous voice. People don't watch wrestling to hear a real, normal person talking about real, normal things such as his wife and kids. That's why pseudo-shoot angles always flop big-time. Having a guy who can't really cut promos anyway start rambling on about his hard life and such isn't entertaining, it's just pretty boring. And I know it's cool to say that his promos are "intense", and "to the point", but GEEZ. I mean, HHH is intense-laughably so, in fact. And when the best thing you can say about something is that it's short-well, then, it can't be that good to begin with.

That's why you have Heyman take on Benoit as a client, thus Benoit doesn't need to speak, problem solved. On a similar subject, is it time to bring in Fonzie or someone to be a mouthpiece for RVD?
