I like the Mick Foley idea, but you could also keep his return for a later time and just insert Bret Hart here. It's MSG after all; not a church, but holy ground (and would mark Bret's return to Survivor Series!).

So, let's see:

The Rock, John Cena, CM Punk, Sheamus & Bret Hart
vs. The Miz, R-Truth, Alberto Del Rio, Christian & Triple H?

Sounds epic to me. Should go at least 45 minutes though.

Only question left to be answered: Who will survive?

Ok, now you're reaching for things.
Just kidding.

WHat screwjob do you mean? Bret-Shawn?
Or the regular "guy takes out his team mate?"
Because that could happen yes.

Most likely Rock and Cena survive and then eye one another.
Shake hands, don't let go. One of them does a finisher on the other.

The match will probably set up 2-3 other feuds for the following months as well.
Ya know, face and heel do a double countout spot to start their feud.

So you missed Raw this past Monday.

Bret has less business being in the ring at this point than Hogan, Sting and Flair combined, even if his role is "stand on the apron letting the others do all the actual work, put the last heel standing in the sharpshooter to give his team the win". Not that Mick's a big step up; I'd have no problem with this one being 4-on-4.

I'm Charlie Owens, good night, and good luck.

No, I didn't miss RAW. I watched. And I stick to my point. Of course, you are right, and Bret shouldn't wrestle normal matches anymore. But this is 5 on 5, so he doesn't have to do a lot. Kind of like the 7 on 7 match at Summerslam 2010. He did ok in that one. I think he would love to go back to MSG one last time. And, like I said, WWE could hype his return to Survivor Series. To me it would make sense.

Bret has already been to MSG, it was a house show. Another one of those moments that would have been awesome on TV, but you know Dayton, OH is such a great venue why spoil it. Another thing they screwed up. I am very hesitant for Bret to be in the ring even with the safe spots. Foley would be a better choice even if he is out of shape. They could have Miz or Truth attack Foley on a Raw to bring Rock back as Foley's mystery 5th partner. I think a Superteam of Punk, Cena, Rock, Foley and Sheamus would be too much. I fully expect Punk and HHH to do something else.

Another avenue is Rock comes to WWE's aid after a month of HHH, Mad God COO. The history between thoseo two would be more believable then Cena saying he was going to call Rock. Rock coming back to save the day, too is in another stable of his character. Cena and Rock being on the same team makes zero sense especially if you follow Rock's twitter feed where he telling people he is going to MSG to fuck up Cena.

The Wee Baby Sheamus.

By my (admittedly quick) count, this will be The Rock's fourth Survivor Series elimination match; he has been the sole survivor in two of his three matches.

He debuted in '96 (and was the sole survivor), lost with The Nation in '97, and helped Team WWF defeat Team Alliance in 2001, last pinning Steve Austin to become the sole survivor.

Additionally, he won his first WWF Championship in '98 in the tournament, lost in a triple-threat WWF Championship match in '99 (The Big Show took Triple H's title in that match), and defeated Rikishi in '00. Overall, not a bad showing.

Just realized this would be the 15-year anniversary of Rock's WWE debut....which was also at the Survivor Series at MSG. nice touch.

What about a co-branded superteam of Cena, Rock, Orton, Punk and Sheamus vs. Del Rio, Henry, Miz, Truth and Christian or Cody? That gets every major player from both shows (except HHH) into the main event. Still leaves open the possibility of Team Vickie vs. Team Air Boom on the undercard or Team Sin Cara vs. Team Sin Cara (it's actually just the Bushwhackers and Men On A Mission under Sin Cara masks).

Sad.

He's such a hard guy to figure out.

He wrestles blood and flaming tables matches, yet he loves Christmas, Disney World and Winnie the Pooh, yet he's into making dick jokes.

Just a side note here. Rock has been filming G.I. Joe and tweeting from down here in New Orleans. In less then 2 weeks is Hell in a Cell. Appearance could be likely.

Only the COO Triple H can fire people around here, and he's afraid of that fat skinny ass Mark Henry.

Hey fellow wieners, I happened to be searching thet net late last night and ran across release dates on dvds and video. Being in the digital age I went and looked up dvd release dates for the rest of the year on one webpage.
