| #1 Posted on 11.1.04 1610.18 | Instant Rating: 8.65 | Thursday afternoon, someone at the AP Sports desk accidentally emailed out the entire contents of their Rolodex. Of course, it's found its way all over the 'Net now, including a pointer to http://www.okayplayer.com/ dcforum/DCForumID16/21336.html which ended up on Scott Christ's Delphi forum (forums.delphiforums.com), where I saw it. And now, I pass it on to you!

If you're REALLY bored, you could try using these phone numbers to get some snail mail addresses out of Google, instead.
(DISCLAIMER: Crank mailing, or visit-with-intent-to-stalking celebrities is also bad)

Yeah, there seem to be quite a few names on that list for whom attempting to contact would require the use of an ultra-long distance carrier. I also noticed that many of the New York City phone numbers are sans area code (hinting that they were recorded at a time long since gone when you didn't need an area code to call a New York City number from a New York City phone). Therefore, it looks to me like this is a pretty antiquated list, at least as far as the top alphabetical portion goes. The second part (that is, the listings after Don Zimmer) look like more recent additions specific to the reporter's usual assignments in the Seattle area, and most of those are already easily obtainable. Oh well; for his sake I hope they don't come down too hard on him.
