Apparently, he's doing just fine physically but still hadn't received medical clearance to return to the ring.

For a long time no one knew what was wrong with him so it made his condition even worse but i hope he comes back U know it's good to play a spoof character of Goldust. I'm not crazy! Oh no! Hopefully what Storm said was true...Regal's made a lot of progress fighting through personal demons and it would be a shame to see him lose that because of a fluke illness. What I can tell you, though, is that it will be a long long time before there's another mark-out moment in our house like the one there'll be the night Regal returns to Raw.
Does that also mean that he was undefeated for 30 years and got bodyslammed by The Rock in that Legend vs Icon match at WrestleMania I? EDIT: Oh, wait. Sorry, that was WrestleMania 2.
