This clip is in swedish, but the "highlight", which you don't have to understand swedish to get, comes in the beginning of it. I don't know if you have this type of programs where you live, but it's one where viewers can call in and guess a word and if they get it right they win money. I blame Papa Shango.

I like how she came right back and kept on hosting the show like nothing happened. Way to hang in there.

This thread title reminds me...I was watching a college football game Saturday and it was headed to overtime and the announcer..well he went nuts or something. I think it was maybe the Georgia game? I watched so many that day I don't remember, but out of no where with overtime starting he's like Hey guys I need to ask a question. What's Britney doing with her life?

It was so horribly akward. I think he was trying to break up the tension and goof off, but it just didn't work at all. I think the other guys in the booth didn't get it either cause they treated him like an idiot.

It wasn't Lee Corso, was it?

Honestly, I wasn't expecting that at all in the clip. I was eating when I watched it.

It was Mike Patrick and I couldn't be happier that he's no longer doing NFL on ESPN. They were ripping him to shreds on sports talk radio this morning.

And that Swedish clip was nasty. I think she had eaten beef stew earlier.

Fire Joe Morgan has two posts about Patrick, one with video of the incident.

YES that's the stuff! Seriously I do think he was just joking around though. It was super tense at that moment what with being overtime and it was a kinda loosen everybody up while recognizing how tense it was getting thing. It just really didn't work.

I don't speak Swedish, but if anyone can verify the subtitles as being accurate, it adds a certain level of comedy to the original clip...

You wanted the best, you got... Out of Context Quote of the Week.

"The Mexican rebels aren't running it back for touchdowns, so it's close." (thecubsfan)

I'm just waiting for someone to intercut that scene in "Beyond the Mat" with Vince McMahon's original idea for Droz.

And not only do they have the same programs, I'm pretty sure they used the exact same graphics for a text message-based one. Except the commercial had you trying to unscramble "LOHIDAY".

I suppose I'll be the self designated explainer guy today... 1. Is Promotion Wars like TNM? Yes and no. TNM simulated the matches themselves, Promotion Wars simulates running a Promotion.
