You know, open that Word doc, bash up the odd spreadsheet or Access database. I don't work from home anymore and I'm the only user who is fairly technically literate. My email is gmail so I don't use Outlook. Given the scenario above, I don't do anything particularly important Office, so I'm interested to hear if anyone here has tried out the Beta of Office 2010, and what they think of it. Thanks as always Stewart Promote this thread!

ICQ: # 2 Posted on 7.12.09 1332.19 | Instant Rating: 9.32 I saw a lot of it at the SharePoint conference I went to back in October. It looked really good. I will be installing beta stuff as soon as I get a little bit out from under my current workload. Sign up for Folding@Home and join our team. PM me for details. Ignorance is bliss for you, hell for me.

Thanks Guru, Thinking it over, as I'm not particularly reliant on Office I've decided to give it a go. I'll probably install it over the weekend. Thanks
Hey, it worked! I did it as the low memory, low visual option, and somehow it put it into my Firefox. I assumed when I couldn't find it in my extensions that I was hooped, but obviously it's working.
