"Nay, Nay! From Strangers Stay Away!".
It was produced soemtime in the 60's but I saw it in the mid-80's in kindergarten or pre-school.
I'd remembered seeing it for several years but could never find out the name of the character or the film strip 'till a few weeks ago via a Google search- EUREKA!

It's a pretty weird premise for a children's story, now that I re-watch it.
Sadly; Patch's lack of depth-preception meant he was never able to be the race horse he really pined to be; and he was destined for the glue factory. :(

The gist is along the lines of D**** B****** had an af**** with L****p**l and E****** striker M****** O***'s s*ster while V*****ia was pr****** with R*meo. Generally considered a load of bollocks.
