I got tickets in a pre sale. Section 125. Should be decent seats. I woke up late this morning and was going to get 2 tickets for a friend that had to work. Tickets are apparently already almost sold out. I can;t find 2 tickets together. I can't beleive they are selling out so fast with 70,000 freakin seats. Oh well, I got my tickets and the atmoshphere will be electric I'm sure!
I've been to house shows, TV tapings, and pay per views. I've never been to a WrestleMania. Is going to WrestleMania all that WWE hypes it for, or is it just empty hype? I'm sure with 70,000 seats, Ford Field will be pretty well pumped. But is it that special when it's at an arena they run 3 or 4 times a year and with the same size crowds they normally have at a Raw taping?
I've been listening to my gut since I was fourteen. And I've come to the conclusion that, frankly, my guts have shit for brains.
UPDATE: Wrestlemania is already sold out. You can't find a single ticket on ticketmaster.
I've only been to one and that was this year's WM in Chicago. It was hands down the most fun I've ever had at live event & being kinda close to Detroit (I live in St. Louis) I wouldn't miss next years. The Chicago crowd was amazing as was the show! I can't wait to see what they come upp with for WM 23 in front of 70,000 people!
I'm going, it will be the 3rd Mania for me. I loved WMXX, wasn't so impressed with 22. On WWE.com it says there will be more Mania tickets available later. Does anyone know where the RAW and ECW/Smackdown tv tapings after Mania will be held? Or know when this will be announced?
WM is pretty cool, but I have been to house shows and the occasional TV show since that were more up.
But the WM I went to was presented in three cities at the same time - so we watched part of it on the big screen, watched our part live, then watched the rest on the Big Screen.
I was in Chicago, at the Rosemont, the other segments were in (I think) NY and (I know) LA.
I'd say a RAW I went to 4-5 years ago was pretty hot - hotter than WM2, anyway.
We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.
6 tickets in Row 2 of Section 234 for me! First Wrestlemania for myself and the other 5 people that are going with me. I was excited about it when I first put in the order so it should be great...Only seen WWE at the Joe and that was for Smackdown, RAW and a few house shows. Ford Field should be completely different in a very, very good way, it is a fantastic venue.
Should be a great weekend since I plan to go to both ROH shows the Friday and Saturday before WM23.
The event is a sellout for now but just like all the other WM's I predict more tix will be available as seats will be added behind cameras/speakers. In other words tix you may find available at a later time probably will have an obstacle you will have to work around watching.

I actually was wondering this myself. I realize CRZ made a smart remark about finding out in four months but seriously usually by now there is much speculation about the Royal Rumble winner and the main event for WM but there seems to be no talk about it whatsoever this year.
As for whether WM is special, it might just depend on the city. I've only been to one ppv and it was only Armageddon and the card wasn't that good but it was pretty nuts just because it's rare to get a ppv in Birmingham.
Yes I am going. It will be my 7th consecutive Wrestlemania. WM is definitely something else and always special & fun.
Cool thing is I get my tickets via WWE's travel packages. So I also got a HoF ticket (definitely worth it) a meet & greet (always fun) and the brunch on sunday (it's ok but nothing special) plus they put me in a sweet hotel..
The seats are usually great as they are always close to the ring (we are always just behind the "i get to take my seat home" section. But alas you never know exactly where you will be sitting until you arrive in Detroit.
I got my tickets. Section 124 row 11. This will be my second WM. I was at WM18, which had a wonderful atmosphere. I'm going to this show with my 9 year old newphew. It's his first live wrestling show ever, so what better way to break him in than at WrestleMania
a great main event would be Cena/Rock. That would only happen if the WWE can get the rock in a condition to wrestle again. I believe Meltzer said the WWE were actually toying with that idea depending on some sort of injury rock had on one of his movie sets that involved post film surgery.
I second this. I've been picking up the DVDs as Big Vision releases them (so I'm only up to #6, I think) and they're good stuff. Thanks for the write-ups -- these sound like good shows.
