I can't seem to get any of my computers to resolve DNS right now. I can only get to web pages from computers that already had the pages open.

This is quite odd.

Hmm... if I put a proxy in, I can get out. I have no problem connecting via IP here locally.

Oh well, this is probably just a local Road Runner thing.

It could have just been a way of catching up to Chrome, which is already on version 14. I wouldn't put much stock in the release numbers anyway, but whatever they want to do, fine with me.
