I'm going to go through Orlando in a couple of weeks and I was wondering if anyone had attended the TNA tapings in Orlando?
Do you have to buy tickets or are they just looking for people to fill the seats? I won't be going to any park attractions, as I'm just going through town on my way to a wedding.
Just wanted a heads up on how they are running things there and any insight would be appreciated.
Edit: I just got this off the TNA site, but I'd like to hear from people who've attended.
Impact! will be filmed every Thursday at Universal Studios Soundstage 21 and is free for both guests of Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure theme parks, as well as the public. Seating is based on availability. Doors open at 6pm with a bell time of 6:45 p.m. Free parking is available at the Universal Orlando parking garage after 6pm. Don’t miss your chance to be on television! Call the Universal Studios “Impact!” hotline at 407-224-6000

No tickets are required, taping is free of charge. However, there is a seat limit of ~700, so the earlier you arrive, the better. Doors open at about 6:00pm eastern time, with the first dark match performing about 45 minutes afterward.
Keep in mind that TNA coaches the crowd to cheer the faces and boo the heels and also tries to promote a "family-friendly" atmosphere due to the 3pm airing of the show on television, so no swearing or naughty signs. In fact, at the last taping I went to the Sign Gestapo did confiscate at least two signs to my knowledge.
