So I'm counting out pennies Sunday night to play some poker (we're moving, and the poker chips are already packed). Something doesn't feel right, so I take a look and find this:
On the right is a normal penny. On the left is, what? It has the edge ridge of a penny, but no markings on either side. I'd try Google, but I'm not sure what to google (non-stamped, error, non-cast, non-struck?).
For what it's worth, the error penny weighs 0.02 g less than the normal one (2.51 to 2.49 g).
Not sure, but it might be a capper penny. One of those things the banks sometimes use to top off a role of coins. I got jipped by a capper nickle one time...damnit!

I think it's a magician's coin. But it is possible it is an uncommon strike. I used to have one that is similar but the back was a but depressed so I could put a dime in there for the old switcheroo.

What about Neleh? You not digging her? Cute little thing... Something needs to happen fast, or the next 3 weeks will be super boring with the merge at 7-3.
