Long story short, we're foster parenting a Macaw for a few months. The bird is beautiful, and very, VERY loud and active. I know when we go to work the birds going to be lonely.
So, I was wondering if there was a place to get an album worth of bird sounds, or something similar, so that he doesn't feel isolated.
I've read that they are very social animals and that they will have self destructive behavior if they do not get enough attention.
I usually don't like birds as pets, but this thing is pretty awesome and I want it to be a part of our family as much as possible when we're there, and I hope that keeping it occupied with either music, bird calls, or even the TV on, would keep him occupied while we're out.
Thanks for any help or suggestions you guys might have!
There were fifteen years between when he started the first and when he published the second. "The Gunslinger" was originally published as a series of short stories, starting in 1971 (I believe) and spreading throughout the 1970s.
