The Black Panthers sponsored a free breakfast program for children, sickle-cell anemia tests, free food and shoes, and a school, the Samuel Napier Intercommunal Youth Institute.

Oh GOD no. Freel is currently the fifth outfielder, second third baseman and about the third shortstop/second baseman. While it's possible that somebody will get hurt _ Ken Griffey Jr., I'm looking in your direction _ I wouldn't risk it. Go for somebody like Dave Roberts instead. | Whitebacon

Who happens to be starting the season on the DL.

I dropped Roberts from both my teams that ended up with him, I can't justify a DL spot for him when he's old and has a dodgy groin and he's all about steals. It may well come back to haunt me later, but you get that.... | Whitebacon

Purely idle speculation though.

I see Randa getting lots of playing time in Cinci. They like his contact hitting balancing out all the strikeouts in their lineup. | redsoxnation

Or, he could just hit a walk-off home run on opening day. Pedro dominates after the 1st and the bullpen implodes. Petey better get used to it. | dunkndollaz
