I need speed on my fantasy team and want to add Ryan Freel. Should I anticipate him playing everyday? Thanks.
The Black Panthers sponsored a free breakfast program for children, sickle-cell anemia tests, free food and shoes, and a school, the Samuel Napier Intercommunal Youth Institute.

Oh GOD no. Freel is currently the fifth outfielder, second third baseman and about the third shortstop/second baseman. While it's possible that somebody will get hurt _ Ken Griffey Jr., I'm looking in your direction _ I wouldn't risk it. Go for somebody like Dave Roberts instead.

I'm personally taking a punt on Taveras from Houston to get some steals. I dropped Roberts from both my teams that ended up with him, I can't justify a DL spot for him when he's old and has a dodgy groin and he's all about steals. It may well come back to haunt me later, but you get that....
If Jimenez struggles in the leadoff role, but excels otherwise, and if Joe Randa continues being Joe Randa, I could see the Reds getting Freel a lot of time at third to to get his bat and speed at the top of the lineup. Purely idle speculation though.
I'd also go with Taveras from Houston. Houston's lineup is so bad, the only way the can score is to steal a ton of bases. Look for everyone else on Houston to run wild as well.
I see Randa getting lots of playing time in Cinci. They like his contact hitting balancing out all the strikeouts in their lineup.

Or, he could just hit a walk-off home run on opening day. Pedro dominates after the 1st and the bullpen implodes. Petey better get used to it.

I think it is safe to say that the Yankees grabbed Ponson just so the Red Sox (who also put in a waiver claim) couldn't get him - not that I can see why anyone would want him......The yanks & sax are both "playing without a net" this season.
