Simmons looks forward to Toine's return to Boston tonight against the hated Lakers. Big party planned, too. Videos, posters and a secret surprise! Maybe Jefferson's going to give back his number 8 so they can retire it?

Walker was hard to like and harder to appreciate when he played for the Celtics the first time. I expect he'll get a great reception tonight. And if they kick some Laker ass tonight, it will just make the homecoming sweeter.

Put Gary Payton back on this team with Pierce not being doubled all night, Walker hitting the boards, and Davis doing a Vinnie Johnson impression off of the bench, and the Celtics have a punchers shot in the East. Not a great chance, but a punchers shot is much better than the no shot they had a few days ago. |
