Chris Benoit's last Velocity appearance was on June 28 of last year, teaming with Rhyno to defeat the Basham Brothers. (At the time, the US Title Tournament was going on, and Benoit had already qualified for the Semifinals.) That was Benoit's first, last and only Velocity appearance.
His previous b-show appearance was a victory over the late Crash Holly on the February 4, 2001 edition of Sunday Night Heat. He also main-evented the RAW taped alongside it.
