Well, FINALLY Shi-Ann was bright enought to tell everybody what I have been saying all along, that they need to get rid of Rob. Well, nobody listened, but that is okay.
Interesting how everybody threw it in Shi Anns face that she was next to go and Alicia was so funny when she told her that she didnt want to talk about strategy, since Shi Ann was the next to go.
Jenna is bitching that Shi Ann was wanting some steak, well hell Jenna you got a hot dog, so shut up already, the bitch was hungry!
Tom gets smart and actually tells Rob to get rid of Rupert, since he will eventually win an immunity. BUT, Rob doesnt seem so concerned.
Immunity comes and Rob gets eliminated, and everybody is suddenly Ruperts friend. Funny, they were all SO SURE that Shi Ann was gonna go, that nobody even THOUGHT that there was a possibility that she would win.
Shi Ann wins, and is jubilant, and now everybody else is complaining? HELLO! She just stuck it in your ass and broke it off! You cant go around for three days telling somebody that they are next, they cant do anything about it, and then get upset when they are HAPPY that they won immunity. I also found it amusing that Shi Ann wouldnt even look at them during the challenge, just kept focused on looking to the side.
Interesting Tribal council, as Jenna pipes up with "Maybe we dont want her to know our strategy". Well, do any of them really grasp the concept that this isnt a TEAM CHALLENGE anymore? All 6 of them were sitting there, putting thier eggs in the ROB WILL WIN IMMUNITY basket and planning on voting whatever way he proposed. Somebody needs to point out, and I thought Shi Ann would, that they are all stupid to have such alliances that depend on FOUR of you going someplace together, without thinking about what happens when it is down to four.
Oh well, SO LONG ALICIA! Join the other two that dont like rob and dont want to vote for him. Thanks for playing, it was nice to have you around, even, as you found out today, nobody thought you should have been there in the first place.
I've been waiting four years to see someone actually win immunity when they were the last one standing in a Pagonging, and it finally happened. And, inexplicably, it was Shii Ann. Gotta give her credit for winning such a tough challenge, and had it been me, I would've been all finger pointing too.
THE QUEST FOR LORD STANLEY'S CUP
Tied for 9th: St. Louis Blues, New York Islanders, Dallas Stars, New Jersey Devils, Nashville Predators, Boston Bruins, Vancouver Canucks, Ottawa Senators Tied for 5th: Tied for 3rd: Second: The Champion:
Bullitt is right. If Rob gets to the final, he'll get votes for playing the game. They need to take him out.
Last night you had three groups of two plus Shii Ann. These people must be given stupid pills along with their rice or something. Doesn't it seem obvious that the Jenna/Rupert pair and the Tom/Alicia pair should have gotten rid of Rob or Amber? It seems so obvious to me. Maybe it's not so obvious out there. We do only see snippets of what is happening.
But really, besides win immunity a few times, Rob hasn't done anything really. Somehow he has people intimidated (and I dont know why) and he has stabbed everybody in the back. And, he already has three Jurors against him.
If him and Amber go, I think Amber will make the play at the final jury that she "strategically" hooked onto Rob,and they both played the game the best they could. Makes her look like she knew what she was doing, and makes Rob look like a prick for kicking all his buddies off after making a bunch of alliances.
The reason I would get rid of Rob is to make it more of a game, but, thats just me, sitting here in the states. If I was on the Island, I am trying to get to the final two, any way I could, and taking Rob at this point, is probably the safest bet.
(edited by StaggerLee on 23.4.04 0554) Thank you for your irrelevant opinion.
The only person Rob can beat at this stage is Amber because everyone else is going to be pissed at him. I don't think that this particular jury is smart enough to recognize good game play like the original jury did when they gave it to Richard Hatch.
As for Shii Ann - awesome ! I'm glad she stuck in their collective faces at the IC and she had every right to do it too. I couldn't believe Alicia's immediate comment about her needing to watch it because she still had to live with them. Even sweeter since it's Alicia that she doesn't have to live with anymore. And good for her for stirring things up at the Reward Dinner too.I would have been doing the same thing. I've never liked Shii Ann but she was my hero last night.
Now let's get whiny Jenna off the show next week....
Folk singers are always liberal pansies, but not me.....I sing for my fellow conservatives...care to hear "Shoot the Hippie out of the Redwood Tree" ?
Don't be misled by the evil "Next Week" promos. Rupert and Jenna will stay together until final four. Rob knows that Tom has been playing the game behind his back. Even Jenna noticed that Rupert is clueless when it comes to strategy. So in the battle of two big fat dumb evils, you get rid of Tom, and pick off Rupert at the final four, before he can beat you in the final endurance immunity.
Oh joy. Time for the annual Kim Bauer in peril storyline. Time to bring back Nina to show him how to properly take care of a Bauer when you take them hostage at CTU. Other than that, nothing at all stands out from this episode.
