I was fascinated by these movies as a kid,and was let down greatly by the Tim Burton reboot that didn't reboot anything.
But, a story of how the Apes came to hate humans might be interesting.

John Lithgow is hit or miss, so who knows how this will turn out.

John Lithgow is always a hit. Even in bad movies, he's usually watchable. (For the sake of this post, I'm deliberately ignoring anything entitled Harry and The Hendersons).

Lithgow as Arthur Miller in Dexter, Season 4, was nothing short of brilliant.

Its the plot to the fourth movie where Cesar leads the revolt against the humans. Interesting place to start, but in reality after Burton's debacle, its better to leave this franchise alone. The shock ending to the original is never going to be surpassed.

I knew....I saw, took my daughter to see it and she LOVED it. Out of the 2 theaters in Raleigh that I looked up for tickets, it was sold out at one of them, so it was kind of a big deal.
