Of course, he only came out with the spell checker TODAY because he knew I was ready to release the "show me the referrals" page and wanted to steal my thunder. ;-)

Check the chickens section...you can click on one of the numbers now. Don't worry if they don't match up. I dare you to keep from clicking on it several times during the day - and every day thereafter until you get tired of my cleverness. YOU WILL NEVER TIRE OF MY CLEVERNESS

If you don't see a flag, let me know - I kinda thought Malta would be my last one, but sure enough I had to add Gibraltar and Seychelles just today. (DON'T tell me if there isn't a site icon. I've gotten easily over 99.9% of our referrals but I have an autonotifier in place if a "new" site sneaks into the list)

Also, please tell me I'm clever and you how much you love my cleverness and how much you love this new page, because I've spent waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much time working on this for the past week. :)

This is gonna be great for checking out what brings people here...

For example, how anyone looking for "Keith+Van+Horn+death" ended up here is a mystery...

So clever, CRZ. So very, very clever...

I wouldn't use the word 'clever' to describe this new feature. 'Visionary' is the word that jumps to my mind. In fact, I humbly propose that CRZ's title be changed to 'Visionary Web Pimp' if it won't go to his head too much.

Yeah, well, technically I've been working on the spell checker for over a year now... with very long pauses in between. I think Aspell has been installed since Jan, 2003.

The referral thing is more impressive, considering you had it done on Tuesday and beta tested for 5 days. I tested mine for about 10 minutes

This is very interesting slash wrestling had almost as many searches as Sable and Torrie Playboy pictures. I remember when Scotsman did this last year with all the weird stuff people searched for and got to his site from. Good work.

A search for "relationship+sleep+position+meetings"...

I don't even think I want to know...

Way to go CRZ, it is indeed very CLEVER

And it seems only right to tip my hat to Guru for the spell checker...works fine so far for me!

Brilliant. And constantly fascinating. But it keeps giving me an American flag when a search I've tried while not logged in ends up on the list.

Yet it shows up us a Canadian flag on the post. Go figure.

Your search engine probably ends in dotcom, and that's where the flags are coming from. Google.ca, for example, would throw a maple leaf into the table. I know now more Finnish and Portugeuse websites from the past week than I ever knew before.

I can't seem to replicate it, so I'll buy that logic, but I know that even when I try to search at google.com it redirects me to .ca.

I think that may have been me. My roommate was playing NBA Live 2000, and was under the impression that Van Horn was dead. I know squat about basketball, so I checked.

The second hit on that string brings you here.

Joe, BTW, was thinking of the guy who went drag racing with Derrick Coleman or whoever.

You're clever. I love your cleverness. I love this new page. And I'm not just saying that.

Seriously, the "how they ended up here" function is currently my favorite Internet toy. Who knew there were so many different ways to search for Sable's and Torrie's "Playboy" photos? And, like cranisn, I anxiously await the full story behind the "The +Amazing +Genius +of +CRZ" search.

Also, congrats to Guru for the spill checker. I mean spell chocker. I mean...well, good job by both BeeZees.

clitoris from Canada

Imagine his disappointment when he found it leads to rikidozen's profile.

Edit: This thing is great and I thought that I looked for some fucked up stuff.

Is there going to be a referrals "archive" page? Some of these searches are quite ... interesting, and should be saved for posterity's sake.

We've logged 63417 searches in....just over ten days.

I think my favourite search so far is "my clitoris." I mean, I would think the Web's gotta be the LAST place you should be looking if you're trying to find it

What's up with google claiming that only two sites link to the W? Besides being hard to believe, how'd W get the relevance it has if only two sites have linked to it?
