| #21 Posted on 24.10.02 1451.45 | there's a couple of ways:
I think you can win them in the monthly raffle thing (but I have no clue how to enter the raffle, but I have 13 tickets now). you should get one for your birthday, and one at christmas I think. The black market dude might have some for sale when he comes around. And, you can also trade them with other people (at least the non-rare ones).
oh, and you can get one from www.animal-crossing.com I got Soccer (and it looks like Soccer ain't available now), but I also want Donkey Kong Jr (which is what's offered now). Click the thing at the top of the news section a few times (a banner with two pelicans on it), a popup will appear, and just fill in stuff, then it'll give you a password to take to nook.

| #22 Posted on 24.10.02 1801.22 | You get raffle tickets when you buy things from Nook. The raffle is held at the end of every month. I have a friend who just buys out the store every day to collet raffle tickets.

| #23 Posted on 24.10.02 2113.52 | I came across the Raven Pole before. I already had the Bear Pole (another totem pole), so I bought the Raven one, also. I've since gotten rid of both.
As for the raffle, for every 5 tickets you get from Nook, you can get 1 entry in the raffle. Since you said you had 13, you would get 2 raffle entries. On the last day of the month, Nook will be open only for the raffle. Take your tickets to Nook's & keep playing the raffle until you run out of tickets (unused tickets don't carry over to the next month)

I wonder ... Is it possible to use "October tickets" for the raffle being held NEXT October? I mean, I know they don't carry over for the next month, but what about the same month next year?

| #28 Posted on 25.10.02 1135.16 | How long does it take "Nook" to remodel his store? I spent a few hours fishing, and caught a ton of good fish, filled up my house and all of my pockets with them, and then I get a letter from him saying he will be closed today for remodeling! I found the "asteroid" and now I think I want space-themed objects for my house. I have the asteroid and Spaceman Sam... does anyone else have somethey would be willing to trade for?

And Nook will be closed all day for his renovations.

| #34 Posted on 25.10.02 2059.46 | Most things you get along the way can be ordered again from Nook. Once they have been in your possession, they will appear in your catalog (ask Nook to see it). There are certain exceptions (these will be in the catalog, but can't be ordered from Nook), notably Gyroids, carpets from the Carpet lady, wallpaper from the Wallpaper guy, items from Gulliver or the Mayor, and games from animal-crossing.com.
I think one guy in my town has the space wallpaper. It's black w/ white dots for stars. I'm guessing it might be a special pattern from the Wallpaper guy, because I haven't seen Nook sell it.

That also goes for anything else really rare - the autumn medal, the ship-in-a-bottle, Nintendo games you get from animal-crossing.com, clothes from Gracie, wallpaper from Wendell, carpets from Saharrah, anything from Gulliver, fossils, etc. etc. etc.

| #37 Posted on 25.10.02 2128.08 | Is it me, or is this game just a huge money sink? First you need the Gamecube and the game, then you need a Gameboy Advance to get to the island, then you need an E-reader to get extra games, then you need a broadband connection when AC online comes around! Not to mention the card set I just heard about that you can scan to get more villagers, furniture and fruit!
It's digital crack!

| #38 Posted on 25.10.02 2206.07 | Well, there are other reasons to get those things besides animal crossing. Such as the really rad games on the GBA (such as Fire Pro Wrestling, adn uhhh... super dodge ball). And the e-reader, well... Shit, you can buy cards for that for playing games with (I bought one just to get excitebike). And the cable to hook the GBA to the GameCube, well, that can be used for other games too! I can't wait till I can buy decks of Animal Crossing e-reader cards.
It may be digitcal crack, but it's digital crack for the whole fambly! And, it's digital crack that right now doesn't cost a monthly fee. And you get to fish. Fishing rules! In video games anyway, I don't have the patience for anything but ice fishing.
And my islander just gave me a 30 000 bell bag, and a Treasure Chest. That is soc ool!

| #40 Posted on 28.10.02 1222.26 | Never heard any news about Animal Crossing being online... in the traditional sense... I am still looking for Space-themed objects... and I have a ton of junk to trade... also I have a fellow "town-mate" who is looking for Japanese objects... can anyone help with that? Is there any benifit to upgrading Nook's all the way? I do not know anyone with a Gamecube... so if I want to get the final upgrade I am going to have to buy another memory card and start a new town... is it worth it?
