Again, PM me if you or someone you know wants to visit me in my village sometime. I am just starting out (and out of that stupid tent), so my services are limited yet. But I plan on working hard as mayor for myself and my animal residents! And working hard to avoid scandals, embezzlement, and eventual impeachment that seems to follow public office nowadays.
Again, I am collecting Asian/Exotic furniture and items. So if you are playing, I am buying. Thanks!
Edit: I went to Tortimer's Tropical Island for the first time and now have bananas, lychees, and lemons too.
Glad to see some others are playing. I am loving the game so far. I have read some nitpicks online about the even slower pace in this iteration to access certain thingss but I love that approach. I like playing for 30 min tops a day and having something to look forward to. I can't see why some people time travel- ruins the point of the game in my opinion. Tomorrow I finally get to start Public Works projects and visit the island!
Anyway, here is my info. I would love to trade fruit. My native is pears and I am in the midst of growing some peaches now that I got from Isabelle. Not really focusing on any specific house stuff yet until I expand more.

06-17-2013 Just a quick note: Did you tag me as a “best friend” in the AC game? If you do that, you could message me if my gate is closed. I think I tagged you (all so far) already.
Also, I noticed that when I go to the island, my gate automatically closes if it had been open. So if it looks like I am playing but you can’t seem to reach me, it could be because I went to the island for a swim and some fruit.
Fruit: Haves: Apple (natives), oranges, pears, cherries, peaches, bananas, lychees, durians, mangos, and lemons.
Fruit: Wants: coconuts, persimmons, and bamboo shoots. Persimmons and shoots might not be found until much latter when the T and T emporium opens. (Source: Prima Official Game Guide)
Edit: I went to the tropical island that is part of the "Club Tortimer" membership area. That island is different from the island you can get to alone. It also sells different things than the other island. Also, because the islands are different, I now have coconuts! Yay!
I saw an interesting article while preparing the TV column yesterday. Not interesting enough for its own topic, so I hope you don't mind if I tack it on here. One, I always forget that Nintendo is the owner of the Seattle Mariners.
