Oh yeah? Consider it done.

See, that's my big problem with this game, so far. My pack rat instinct has led to a severly cramped house. I don't know what's worth keeping and what isn't.

I got an armoir (sp?) from somewhere, and can store 3 shirts in there. But then I have like 7 other shirts sitting in my house. I'll have to see about getting another armoir somehow. I'm hesitant to get rid of the shirts, but I just might need to do that to free up some room. I don't have any fish or insects in the house, though.

I've also got a glass table, and both NES games are on there, but that doesn't really save space.

Did you have Nook expand your house yet?

If you pick "See My Catalouge" at Tom Nook's, you can order (almost) anything you've ever had in your inventory, including (I'm sure) your armoir.

I *think* somebody gave it to me, but I'll check.

On the fish front, I caught a coelacanth tonight (look for a *big* shadow in the ocean). You know, that fish that was thought to be extinct, but reeled in by fishermen in the '40's near India? Tom Nook offered me 15,000 bells for it (!), but I donated it to the Museum instead. Nook can get the next one.

EDIT: I checked the catalog, and I can order an armoire, so I did. I'll probably keep ~6 shirts and sell the rest, since you can order shirts from Nook, too.

And I also noticed that Nook keeps his store open past 10:00 PM after he fixes it up.

And I now have the "Citrus Wallpaper" on my walls.

Yeah, I caught the big fish last night, but I took the cash for it

I spent at least three hours fishing last night, allowing me to finally pay off that second loan to Nook.

My only complaints so far are Nook's business hours, plus the fact that you can only send off 3 fossils at a time to the museum, before they lose track of them.

Question - Is anyone else having trouble making other characters understand their letters? Every time I write to another villager, they send me back a puzzled reply.

They do? I've mailed away 4 at a time, and didn't notice anything wrong. Hmm...

I haven't written many letters, maybe 4 total. I don't recall getting back any puzzled responses.

I've got about 39,000 bells, so I'll probably start paying off the new loan soon.

Have any of the original townspeople moved away? One of mine says she is going to, but I wonder if she actually will?

Nintendo's Animal Crossing web site

Looks like if you bury a shovel, you can get a golden shovel. Not sure what the advantages are, but I'll have to try.

Anybody see the ghost yet? I heard from someone on another site it comes around at 4:03 AM.

Yeah, I saw the ghost, but I don't remember what time it was.. around 4 a.m. sounds right though, because I had come home after the bar closed He was down by the shoreline in my game and asked me to collect five spirits that were roaming around town. The prize wasn't that great, but he gives you three options...

Regarding the fossils I think I just read something on a message board that you could only send off three at a time, so that's what I get for believing the internet.

Anyone met Gracie, the fashion designer, yet?

Today @ 6:00 PM, Crazy Redd (or something) comes to the town to sell exotic stuff. Worth checking out.

Someone on another board I frequent told me his girlfriend sent him one of those "drinking birds" (the one Homer was fascinated with on The Simpsons), which would be pretty cool to have around the house!

The graphics are nothing revolutionary, but serviceable. No small bodies/big heads, though -- well, except for a couple of characters. As for the combat system, I haven't played the previous game, so I can't say how it compares.
