Just when it seemed Dr. Jho wasn't a quack, perhaps his neck surgery has delayed Dr. Nick Riviera qualities to it. 1bullshit is posting that Kurt's neck has begun to cause problems again, causing an MRI to be done. If this turns out to be a problem that looks like surgery will be necessary again, then you'd have to guess Kurt might just walk away from the business rather than go through another surgery on his neck. We all should have known that a procedure recommended by Scott Hall had to be to good to be true.
Why Pro Wrestling proves the INS cannot keep terrorists out of the United States: If a felon like Nathan Jones is allowed into the United States with no special skills (unless being totally inept in the ring counts, but I think there are enough totally inept people in the US to keep that skill from being unique or special), then how the hell can they justify keeping anyone else out?
It's possible that the surgery was a success, but couldn't take Angle's standards of activity. Someone else who doesn't go all-out as Angle could have a prolonged career.
Even the "normal" procedure isn't keeping Austin as active as he used to be.

Wow, you call 'em "1bullshit" yet sure seem eager to believe the worst from that report.
I also think you're being unfair to the doctor - I doubt he RECOMMENDED Angle return to a full schedule of bumps as soon as possible, if not sooner. Also, implying guilt by association with Scott Hall is a pretty classless tactic. MODO.
For what it's worth, Meltzer is reporting the same thing.
Regardless of what the MRI says, I think Angle should take some time off. Considering how close he was to being forced into retirement, if something doesn't feel right it's probably best to err on the side of caution and assume that, even if it's minor, it isn't right.
I knew that the surgery wasn't guaranteed to leave Kurt Angle free of problems, but the prospect of no more Kurt for a year or more at least is distressing to say the least. Colour me disappointed.
Ugh...true or not. We'll just have to wait and see if how long Kurt will be around. Could be another month and it could be another year. That would be good for Wrestlemania XX the Bret/Angle double retirement match. Only time will tell beside as many of you have already stated it wasn't exactly supposed to be a mircle proceedure.

I have been noticing that after the supposed crackdown/ban on germans and their like, that they've been doing them slightly differently... when they go up and over now, they seem to go off to one side as well, taking the bump a bit differently. Maybe doing it that way is a little less stressful on the neck, who knows.

Dr. Jho works out of UPMC. I don't know what, if anything, that means to non-Pittsburghers but let me assure you that, based entirely on that one fact, he is anything but a quack.
There could be any number of reasons for this. He could have landed wrong (not surprising given he's working with the Jolly Green Giants). He could have turned his head too fast. He could have slept crooked. I hope that this is just Kurtski being the good athlete that he is and getting it looked at before it starts to really hurt.

Getting your neck fused is a final solution. It doesn't last forever, and it inevitably leads to more fusion at which point further physicality becomes impossible. I think Kurt's Jho procedure was an attempt to put off any form of fusion as long as possible, but eventually, with that level of physical activity, some further surgical intervention is going to be required.
I think some style adjustment is in order, really. Kurt's biggest flaw as a worker in my opinion is his glaring inability to transition out of anything without some kind of obscene bump. I mean, Jesus Kurt, try a pinning combination sometime. Stop killing yourself.
What do you call Albert Einstein beatin' off? Give up? A stroke of genius!
I think Kurt is finally realizing that he has to change his style. He said in a recent interview how he thought he was indestructible and had that total amateur wrestler mentality about injuries.
It's gotta be tough to just change your style but Angle's over enough that the fans will give him more leeway then most guys.
It's good to know that it's seemingly unrelated to his original neck problems.
However, I've seen wrestlers go down with bone chips in a lot of different places but never the neck. Undertaker had them in his elbow. A friend of mine got them in his knee and your joint pretty much locks up on you.
Angle's is small which usually doesn't need surgery but it's against the nerve.
My friend was out of commission for about 6 weeks with the knee so Angle will probably be out like 2 weeks. There's no Smackdown PPV until the joint one at the Rumble so his timing couldn't have been better.
After any type of surgery, your body will more than likely be more succeptable (sp?) to injuries. I'm sure it has more to do with the fact that Angle went right back to full-force without slowing down than it is to Dr. Jho's surgery.

According to Meltzer, Kurt is going to work SS and have the surgery on Monday.
On the off chance they did have to pull Angle from the match, who would they have take the fifth spot? There aren't that many viable options. Plus, it kinda makes it hard to have Team Angle if Kurt can't go.
If Kurt could main-event Wrestlemania with a bum neck, then I'm sure he can hold up his end of a ten-man match. I doubt they're worrying much about finding a replacement.
