I know this is two days late, but might as well get the ball rolling.

Gotta say I love the idea of a slayer going psycho and killing anything in sight. Good episode, I rate it Five Conans.

Was disappointed at the lack of Eve, though.

I've always wondered how mutilation affects vampires. They showed the one guy stuck in the demon's blood magic wall last year, so I knew it wouldn't be lethal, but I was wondering if cutting off Spike's hands would turn them to dust. If Spike was staked/beheaded while armless, would his arms spontaneously go poof at the same time? Might be a good way to keep track of vampires you care about; cut off a finger or a toe and keep an eye on it.

I still don't like that Andrew was the first of the Buffy cast to make a guest appearance this season (unless you count the *Buffy* cameo last ep, or the clip from the last ep in the second week), but they handled it rather well. Andrew seems to be following in the footsteps of Wesley (and I suppose Xander, although he was never quite as inept) of morphing from bumbling goof into evil-fighting bad ass. The end when Andrew turned on Angel made it clear why Giles sent him: the other Scoobies are too personally familiar with Angel to have pulled off the double cross. Andrew, because he didn't know anyone (save Spike), and more importantly, because he's such a goof, was able to make Angel and co. believe he's completely incapable of pulling a power play (which, he would have been, if not for the dozen or so slayers backing him up. I suppose that kind of firepower would make anyone suddenly confident.)

Its kind of a shock that the Scoobies don't trust Angel anymore, but at the same time, I'd rather see a psychotic slayer in the hands of other slayers than an evil lawfirm, even if some of the good guys are working for the evil lawfirm. Evil just shouldn't have that kind of access.

Why is Dawn in school in Rome? When did she learn to speak Italian, or is there some good English speaking school there I'm not aware of?

Other than that it was a good episode. Nothing involving the recent events with Eve other than that the seeds of mistrust sown by her exit last week seem not to have stuck (or rather, they haven't take root... yet). Although not stated, it would make sense that 'Doyle' sent Spike to the hospital, although for what reason is unclear (unless Lindsay wanted W&H to get ahold of the slayer, and he knew that they'd need extra help on this case). Andrew played his character well, resurrecting his Vam-pyre from Storyteller (the slayer origin speech seemed unnecessary, but I guess there are people who don't know what's up). I enjoyed some of his gags (the 82 % more manly was well timed), although I thought alot of the LotR comments were a little too timely to be truly geeky.

Next week looks awesome with Cordelia. "What bizzaro world did I wake up in?" That should kick ass!!!

Time to go kick more light side ass, KotOR style!

X-E's co-Worst Poster of all time! says:

A)Buffy doesn't trust Angel... makes sense. But I hope if the firm kicks Angel out, Andrew and a couple of his slayettes move in with the crew. This show needs some women.

B)This has never really worked (Conner didn't really die) but I think it's time we take odds on the death pool again seeing as how sweeps are coming up and we're at halftime of the season. My vote's on Gunn now.

C)Way to keep Andrew's sexuality ambiguous guys!

D)This has to be among the most quotable episodes ever.

"Andrew double-crossed us? That's a good move."

Angel:She's an innocent victim.
Spike:So were we, once upon a time.
Angel:Once upon a time.

That exchange just left me breathless at how much it says in so few words.

Something a lot of people don't understand is that it's not a bad thing to crate train your dog. It's not a punishment, and it's not cruel.
