No thread about tonight's episode yet? Damn.

All I gotta say; I never really was too familiar on the Harmony character, but after tonight, damn I want more.

And I always mark out when the vamps whip out their 'vampiry' face.

Good Angel this week. Shocked that they gave Harmony a whole episode to her self but it was worth it.

Yup, wasn't sure what to expect from a Harmony-themed episode but I liked it alot. The big fight scene with her and the other vamp was great. Not a bad episode at all. Plus since joining the Angel crew, Harmony's become alot less annoying to me. So that's a good thing, I suppose.

It's good to have Angel back period. Besides, after becoming a total "Firefly" mark after watching the whole series on DVD last week, I was dying for more Whedon goodness (ewww...).

I enjoyed this week's ep. It was a cute little episode, which is a nice change of pace from some of the heavier stuff they tend to get into. Overall, I've enjoyed the slightly more easy-going nature of this season as opposed to the TENSION! of last season. Its nice for everyone to get the chance to breathe.

Still, after starting the hiatus with the Lindsay/Eve revelation, a little plot wouldn't have hurt...

I still don't totally get how Harmony can be *good*. Even after this episode, they've never explained how Harmony can behave. Sure, she has the whole fear-for-her-life motivation, but even back in her Angel debut she still turned when she had the chance. I don't see why she hasn't just cut and run and found another vampire boyfriend to mooch off of. (Then again, maybe after all the years of watching Spike deal with Buffy, she realizes that its pointless to fight Angel, so she simply acquiesces to make things easier.)

It was fun to watch Harmony work her way through the episode, especially struggling with the body and throwing everyone in the closet.

I wonder if there are any Angel-only fans out there who would have viewed this ep as some of the Buffy-diehards viewed the Andrew-centric "Storyteller" last season.

Next week looks balls-to-the-wall insane.

This is my first season watching Angel (I picked it up when Buffy ended) but I'm digging it immensely. I'm a big Harmony fan ("Harmony has MINIONS?!") and think she's an underrated comic character. I appreciated this episode, obviously, and hope to see some more development with her character. If she did anything on the Angel show before this season, I know nothing of it. When Angel recognized her in the first episode this season, I thought it was from Buffy episodes.

So how does this vampire rise at 7 am and drive to work without burning up? Even Spike had to drive around in a covered car.

Well they are in LA & the smog doesn't burn off till midday, so maybe she's safe from the UV rays in the morning? :-)

Without reading too much into it though; she probably has a car with protected windows, or one of the W&H cars come & get her...

Harmony appeared on Angel once back in season two when she came by to visit Cordelia. Harmony started taking an interest in Cordelia's neck, which Cordy interpreted as Harmony being a lesbian, so she called Willow to ask what she knew about Harmony. Once all the confusion was settled, Cordelia tried to get Angel to help her make Harmony good, but Angel insisted she was evil and that she couldn't be trusted. As it would turn out, Harmony would sell out Angel and co. to the villain of the week and prove him right. Contrast that not only with Harmony's behaviour this season, but Angel's attitude towards her.

I assumed Angel's attitude to everything this season is edge-of-heels bewilderment at what he's gotten himself and the gang into. You could see it even this week with the orientation film (and its slick geek company references). He's not cut out for corporate architecture, probably because he's about as old as America. The rest of the gang, however, have their wits about them. Chalk it up to being more of the times and culture or the irony that the younger guys can, in this case, roll better with the punches.

But he does have all those great cars to play with, and that helps.

it's good that everyone's warming to Harmony, seeing as she's joining the pening credits cast and all. We've just started the fifth season over here and she does seem less annoying, plus her interaction with Spike is priceless.

Ugh. For me, there wasn't much to like here. I saw this ep as the equivalent to South Park's "Not Without My Anus" episode. They left us with a hefty plot development 2 months ago and came back with an episode that will mean next to nothing in the long run.

And don't take this as Harmony hate, either. She's actually one of the things I enjoy about the new dynamic. But, I realize now that she's better in small doses. I guess I just wanted to see more of the rest of the gang. It's been a long time, ya know?

The opening film was fantastic, though. I caught "Yoyodyne". What were the other companies from?

Weyland Yutami -- from the Aliens films, I've heard
Yoyodyne -- Buckaroo Banzai's invading-alien company
News Corp. -- they own Fox

I only recognized Weyland Yutani from the Alien films. Overall I thought it was an OK episode, but probably the worst of the season so far. I've never been a Harmony fan though, so maybe I'm biased. I dunno.

The Ultimates are a retooled Marvel Universe. They are set in Today's time (Bush is president, post 9/11) and they're trying to keep the world up-to-date with ours as well incorporate their own stuff. Also, all the books operate in the same world.
