|  #1 Posted on 9.2.02 1702.01 | Did anybody see Letterman last night (or maybe it was Thursday night)? One of his guests was Andy Richter and it felt really strange for a couple of reasons...
1. Just seeing Andy on CBS instead of NBC is weird.
2. Seeing Andy sit next to Letterman instead of Connan is too.
3. In the interview they talked about Richter going to Conan's wedding, never though I would hear Letterman talk about Conan on his show.

| #5 Posted on 10.2.02 1025.18 | If you ever read anything about Dave or saw The Late Shift, you know that Letterman is a very private guy, a cause of which is the self-deprecation that he brings on himself.
I think there's definitely a mutual respect thing going on there, as Dave sees Conan as someone who could take his own lack of confidence and laugh at it, instead of letting it bother him, as it does with Letterman.

| #6 Posted on 11.2.02 0538.01 | I've always gotten the vibe that Dave likes Conan. He's had him on the show once or twice and has been on his show at least once. I've got the Conan show with Dave on it on tape somewhere . . .
Funniest line from that segment:
Dave: How DID you get this show?
Conan: I wrote an essay. Why I should be given a talk show. I came in third.
I was rolling. That might not be the exact quote, but I haven't seen the tape in a couple of years now.
