Particularly since there's precedent for this, as Julius Peppers won even though he got suspended *during* his rookie year. He only missed one game but if I recall correctly, I believe he had really crappy numbers, with his interceptions far exceeding his TDs. Favre, McNabb, and Vick are the best examples of the curse IMO.
