From what I see, Kane is actually one of the most popular character with kids, maybe right on top. I see so many kids with Kane mask in live events.
He's really one of the last retreads of the 90s type cartoonish wrestling characters. Mask, costume, pretty big abnormal body, superpowers in making the ring posts explode. Kids see that and are attracted to it.

where does all the kane hatred come from? i actually like his current character, and just wish he had a real storyline to give some point to his existence. there's only so far you can go with a character that is essentially "big freaky burn victim who doesn't talk," and the wwe already went that far and beyond.
in general, there seems to be a strong desire on this board for wrestlers to rehash old gimmicks. i understand nostalgia, but would the old school "evil undertaker" or "big burnt man who can't talk" kane really fit in to the current wwe? | Wpob
