Diane Lane? She's a fine actress and all.... but she seems a little young to be playing a teenage Clark Kent's mother.

Smallville set the tone for Kents who aren't old fogies and it was a welcome improvement.
Like Annette O'Toole, the new Martha Kent is a SuperMILF. There were reports two weeks ago of interest in Kevin Costner for the new movie as well, presumably as Jonathan Kent. That would be amazing casting as Clark's Smallville family.

"It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." --- Bart Giamatti, on baseball
Holy Shit, Captain Jack! Ok now that is out of the way, once again Arrow is the cure for my daughter's sleep. I loved how everything felt like an issue of Green Arrow with the freeing an innocent man to the giant secret identity as a swerve.
