i've read where american dragon has worked alot of dark matches latley and that he was on velocity a couple of weeks back but does anyone know if he's been signed yet? i think he'd make a great addition to team angle as the cruiserweight of the group.
I haven't heard anything at all...I know he's still involved with Ring of Honor at this point. I've seen 5 or 6 matches, and I hope to GOD the WWE doesn't sign him because he'd just be buried in the undercard and stay there for the rest of his life. I think he's way too talented and can really carve a niche for himself in the indies and in Japan.
CAPTAIN...CAAAAAAAVEMAAAAAN!!!!!
Of Course, I'm Just a Whiny Smart Mark, I Could Be Wrong...
WWE won't sign Bryan Danielson (American Dragon) again. Despite his talent, he neither has the look or charisma that they're looking for. Also, they've spoken out against the "stiff" style he works in. His best bet is New Japan, who he toured with late last year.
I have a special friend. He's the baby Jesus and I love him and...and...he don't give me no s**t and he don't f**k around and he's just the f**king coolest guy and I wanna say I love the baby Jesus.I can't say enough.I love the baby Jesus and I think...he's the best thing and he's really great when he shares his love for everbody. You know what I mean?I can't even see a manger without thinkin' about him,eh?I just love the Jesus.I've only been into him for a couple of hours though, but I'm really into him.--Bruce McCulloch

Again? I cannot remember a time where he was with WWE or OVW for that matter.
Hal: So, Dewey, I'm thinking our little Lego community needs a school. Dewey: Don't need it. Everyone's born smart. Hal: Aww, that's beautiful, son. It's a utopia. Dewey: And anyone stupid will be ground up for food. Hal: Oh. A cannibal utopia. Interesting.
The time I saw him on Velocity I was not impressed. He reminded me of one of those pathetic jobbers from the eighties. Of course, that may be the way he was booked to look, but still.

He was signed to a WWF developmental deal upon graduation from the Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy, along with Bryan Kendrick (Spanky), Lance Cade, and Shooter Schultz. All of them were sent to the Memphis developmental territory. For a while, Dragon, Spanky, and Schultz were stabled together and managed by Jason Sensation. When WWF dropped the territory, they dropped all of their developmental contracts, with the exception of Cade, who was sent to HWA at the time.

I hope you're not referring to his match w/ Jamie Knoble, because that was a damn good match, IMO.
Matthew: You would've loved it, David. A week in a foreign country, strange people, strange customs... Dave: Oh, I know what you mean. I've been to Canada.
I believe he wrestled a sweet little match against Rico tonight for Heat. Sadly, he does not have the look of someone who will make it big. You never know, though.
I'm thinking American Dragon would be better off staying a part of Ring Of Honor, where he's getting rave reviews. If he MUST go somewhere, I'd say he has a better chance of becoming a star in NWA:TNA than in WWE, who pushes lunks like Albert-Train and Batista over people who are actually talented.
