Best episode of the season...which I realize doesn't carry much weight, but still.
I loved "Buddhist Stan" and his encounters with the car salesman (especially the music stings). The episode-wide ploy from Stan was gleefully twisted and the blank expressions from his family to end the episode was just brilliant!
The best thing, though, was that they actually CONTINUED the random sideplot with Roger's golden droppings from last season. But a second cliffhanger is looking just a little excessive.
TEN YEARS AGO IN WRESTLING HISTORY: SEPTEMBER 1996 WWF: Shawn Michaels d. Mankind at Mind Games, one of the 90's best matches. Also, some guy named Steve Austin made it his personal mission to bring Bret Hart back to the ring.
WCW: The nWo prevailed in War Games with the help of a Fake Sting. The real Sting walked out on WCW, kicking off one of the biggest angles in the company's history.
I thought the golden turd subplot was sweet. It actually started in season 1. Roger spent an epsisode trying to find out what his special powers were. He couldn't fly, couldn't walk through walls, but he could crap gold. Brilliant!
Rusty Shackleford is just the name he uses to order Pizza with.
Has anyone else seen the preview for this? Caught it while watching The X-Files at 2am on Sci-Fi. It looks stupefyingly bad. The 30-second spot opens with a woman talking about her dying husband, and her father-in-law's attempts to save him.
