Unlike FG tonight, I found myself loving American Dad tonight for the plots and the hilarity that ensued from those plots. Stan wanting to be a cool cyborg is so in-character, I loved it. And the fight between Stan and Cyber Stan nearly overtook the fight on The Cleveland Show for Fight of the Night. But I'll give this one bonus points for the gag with Francine taking a cell phone pic of the ride photo.
And I really can't believe I didn't make the connection between Steve & Friends and The Goonies before. Roger trying to redo the movie was the moment of the night for me.
"Chop low, Rob Lowe, jab low!"
MacGruber! Making life-saving inventions out of household materials! MacGruber! Getting in and out of ultra-sticky situations! MacGruber! The guy's a freakin' genius! MACGRUBER!
Good luck getting that theme song out of your head
"Stan! Valentine's isn't for another 2 days!" Whoosh to crumbs in an otherwise empty, heart-shaped box. "No, I just wanted some chocolate, & they only sold them in that box at Hershey Park." "You went to Hershey Park without me?!?" "Yeah. Someone told me about it. Sounded cool." "That was me! For years I've been telling you I want to go there!" "Well, now I know why! That place is awesome! Milk chocolate world is great. ..."
This is sooooo why my ex is an ex ... Happy Valentine's Day, Seth. (Y' bastard.)
Pan Am's first episode containing actual character substance and not just light, pretty fluff. Although, let's talk about the pretty first: The production design and costume design of Pan Am is unreal.
