Tomorrow (Saturday, 1/24), a year of Amazon Prime, normally $99, will run you a cool $72, or six bucks a month (The W at Amazon). One or two orders a month alone might save you six bucks in shipping charges, but there's also all the TV and other assorted nonsense you can get with a Prime membership that makes this a fairly good deal if you can part with the dough. I am posting this here so I'll remember to take advantage of it, but I suspect we also get a cut if you use that link...if you need any MORE incentive.

I think it's just for new users, but judging by various message board commenters elsewhere, there may be some tricky ways around that. I also think it won't start until at least midnight Pacific so it'll be a bit longer before we know for sure...
I was sorta wrong! This went active at midnight EST and will be active until midnight PST Sunday.
I could NOT sign up for it because I still have a month left as an associate of Kim. Amazon also wouldn't let me cancel myself so close to the expiry date, saying I'd gain nothing by doing so (little did they know!)...so what I DID end up doing was buy a GIFT membership, sending it to myself on the day after Kim's sub ended. I hope this plan doesn't turn out to be too clever for my own good...
Also, I was able to use a gift certificate instead of charging it, which was cool - I remember not being able to do that before (which was how I never ended up getting it last year or two years ago or whenever).
Ok, this is mostly for oldschoolhero, but anyone with 40K experience is welcome. Now I have a chance to buy some Necron and a Codex pretty cheap. I have heard nothing but good things about the Necron, except that they suck up points.
