The race is back. This season is FULL of people to hate.

Early favorites have to be Hayden/Aaron (dating actors), Kris/John (dating long distance), Freddy/Kendra (engaged models), and Lena/Kristy (sisters).

I'm already sick of Jonathon, the short-tempered, rich (?), short guy who is constantly berating his wife. If he's driving around in a Lamborghini outside his mansion at home, why is he on the show?? How often are there rich people on these "win a million dollars" reality shows? I'm glad his wife is actually fighting back at times.

Lori and Bolo, the wrestlers, could feasily get into the final four, but I see them defeating themselves via miscommunication. And the extra weight and bulk could work against them in many challenges (can you see them doing well in a luge timed-trial race?).

Not bad so far...

Oh man... I wanted to just jump into the tv and kick Jonathan square in the ass. I can't stand this guy and would hate to see him anywhere near winning that money. Once he declared himself a 'mental magician', that was it for me.

I thought for sure the Meredith/Maria team would be out because they followed everyone for so long without haven't been to the checkpoint. They should be very thankful that Joe and Avi decided that it would be easier to find a that little bouy amongst all those icebergs rather than climb the ice wall. What made that funny is Avi going on and on about how smart they are.

Am I the only one who fell over laughing when 'the old couple', Don and Mary Jean, went to that town and tried to ask for directions, but everyone in town was apparently drunk? I can't get over hearing Don exclaim "They're ripped!" But I was glad to see them not be elimintated. They seem like a lot of fun.

I wonder how long Hera and Gus are going to stay around. After seeing him bathe in snow and then his belly hanging out of his t-shirt and his constantly being out of breath and all, it doesn't look like it'll be that long.

My favorites so far are Hayden and Aaron. They're just the cutest. Plus, I got a kick out of it when they were making fun of the wrestlers, Bolo and Lori, and Aaron told her to "Slow Down, Dumbass". Funnier when he said it though.

Meg: Being a single mother is hard, but the real challenge is having a baby that's addicted to crack. Right Stewie?

What makes Jonathan even worse (for me, at least) is that he seems to be using what I think of as the Omarosa strategy -- deliberately exaggerating his assholishness in order to get more attention and TV time. Although since this is TAR, you could also call it the Wil or Flo strategy.

Who was it that asked if the car took Diesel, and then put regular gas in the tank, even though there was a big DIESEL ONLY sticker on the door of the gas tank?
(I only watched about 15 minutes before falling asleep)
Anybody got a link to any website with the wrestlers and what organization they might work for?

I went looking for it a bit. I saw on a blog that he is "B.A.D." and she is "Taylor Made", but couldn't find them. Apparently, they were with NWA Wildside

This might be them http://deckard.mc.duke.edu/~ahb/rott.html

Here's a link to a match recap they were in

Too bad for New York this year, what with the other all-NY team going out in episode 2. But I gotta say, they kinda deserved to go if neither one of them knew how to drive a stick (apparently, that's on the application - Can you use a manual transmission? []yes []no). Nice people, poor racers.

Jonathon is starting to get really creepy. This week he yelled at her the whole way to the Viking campsite, then forced her to apologize to him - and when she did, he wanted her to apologize better! If the previews are correct, it looks like next week he comes *this close* to hitting Victoria before stopping himself. I wonder if there's any TAR rule that says "no hitting racers."

Jonathan is out Colining Colin which is impressive. I guess. The wrestlers are actually plenty of fun so far, but it looks like they're going to blow up one of these weeks and take themselves out of the competition. Don and Mary Jean are nice in the cute roll of "Aww look at the old people!", but their days are pretty well numbered. It was funny watching the couple (I can't remember their names off hand) with the guy that looks like Jeff Hardy break up before they got on the train and then get back together before they got off it. This show is absolute murder on these flimsy relationships.

They are an ex-couple to start with. They stated at the beginning that they used to date and were looking to try and get back together through this show. Now that is a really stupid idea.

I always forget to look for this show..and message boards always remind me.

Gee...was last night's episode (11/23) a Very Special Cleavage Edition of Amazing Race? Some questionable camera work. "Jeff Hardy Guy" was especially annoying on his zip-line ride and "don't ever tell me to take off my sunglasses" has to be one of the lamest threats I've ever heard. What's that prickly hair stuff at the top of his forehead? Do people intentionally WANT to look like that?

I like the old farts, just cuz' they remind me of my folks. I chuckled when she made him correct himself, changing "our mistake" to "my mistake".

Thanks for the wresler's info... I was about to do some googling for them myself.

The line to beat the snot out of that Jonathan guy forms behind me, by the way.

And God bless that CBS camerman, that white tank top, and that seatbelt...

Is it known how many of those "You're the last ones to finish...but this is a predetermined free pass" things there are per season?

If there isn't one next week, who do you think is next to go home?

My pick is... the old couple - Don and Mary Jean.

There are 3 non-elimination legs as always, I believe. They've never done with this soon; usually they don't start till there are six or seven teams left.

One line has repeated in my mind every since I saw this episode: "I don't want you to not love me anymore." Didn't you just feel yourself gag over that line uttered by Adam AKA "The Jeff Hardy Guy". Just ewwwww.... All that over a friggin' pair of sunglasses.

I cracked up laughing at the old people taking the wrong car. Something about that is just sooooo fitting. But I still like them. Not a favorite to win, but nice to have around for three weeks, because I'm with chill... they are next to go.

How much more do I dislike Jonathan? Dammit, he makes me want to climb through the tv and yank a knot in his ass. I can't stand him. What makes it worse is that his wife, Victoria, just let's him treat her like garbage. I can't stand women who allow their men to treat them like that either. The sooner they get eliminated, the happier I'll be.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jonathon/Victoria last a looooong while. I'm guessing that the whole season has already been filmed at this point. They're making such a big deal out of showing Jonathon's fits and outbursts that I think he's someone they want to use to attract viewers. So my theory is that he and Victoria last until at least the final four. So far, he's the only one that people seem to REALLY care about.

I totally forgot about how he was shown yelling at one of the New York girls and made her cry. He's such a prick that I'm *almost* finding reasons to like him...

Good episode, IMHO. I got a kick out of the jab they took at themselves with the TV advert for "The Barf Family".
