Of course I already have my favorites (the virgins, the clowns, and the father-son duo), so I can't wait to watch next week.

| #4 Posted on 29.5.03 2350.17 | I am of the opinion that Amazing Race is the only reality show worth a damn. This season's opener proved that to me.
I'm rooting for the clowns, the father-son team (mostly because the son is such a smart ass), and whatever team that redhead chick is on.
Can't wait for the next epi-sooode.
Edit: I'm kinda sad to see the fat team go, since I was looking forward to seeing them fall on their asses every week.

| #5 Posted on 29.5.03 2350.31 | Good show, good enough that I didn't mind missing Smackdown for it. Of course, given Smackdown's general suckiness lately, not much of a sacrifice. And by jumping straight to Milan, it looks like they're going to avoid a lot of Europe this time around, since the Race usually runs in a west-east direction to cut down on jetlag problems, and they're already pretty far east in Europe.
Still sorting out all the teams, but it looks like the virgins and the clowns are my early favorites. The NFL wives look like they can't handle it and will flame out early (going for the Fast Forward in the first leg, when they're already in the middle of the pack? Bad decision). Chris and Amanda and Russell and Cindy will be the Tara/Wil or Flo/Zach of this season: nonstop bitchfests. And Team ATC are worth rooting for even though they're obviously doomed.

They were on the show? Was it in the first 10 minutes because I missed that part due to getting home late. Damn. Pretty good season opener last night. I'm also rooting for the clowns and father/son duo. Can't wait to see the model team drop out.

|  #8 Posted on 30.5.03 1504.28 | I've been an avid watcher the past 3 shows and this season seems to be headed the same way as them. Great show, one needs skill, courtesy, balls, knowledge, the gift of gab and a little bit of luck to succeed in this game. I don't think any reality show comes close to this one in term of pure gamesmanship.
As for Season 4, personally I'm pulling for the clowns to win, the air traffic controllers (Steve and Dave)to do well (but with the bum knee I don't know how much they can manage to go on), and the miami models to be in a couple of shows just to see them bickering with the others. My prediction for show winners..hmm....either Kelly and Jon or Amanda and Chris to take it all. I wanna also cheer for the NFL wives but they pull the fast foward waaaaay to early, especially knowing they were 2 hours ahead of the last pack. Stratigically it made no sense at all.
So between this and the new season of Imsomniac I'm set for thursday nights for the summer since I don't get UPN.
