I just got an email from the A's mailing list imploring (that might be too strong a word, but you get the point) me to vote for Eric Chavez for the 30th AL spot.
Which is funny, since Chavez is one of thsoe people quoted as saying he really didn't want to go.
I asked Bobby Dylan, I asked the Beatles.
I asked Timothy Leary, but he couldn't help me either.

So there is quite a discrepency between the two leagues... I wonder if there is any logical reason for it? At least it's spurred interest in baseball a bit, which can only be a good thing. | odessasteps

Yeah, I don't know why you would vote for one and not the other. I guess there really are people that are only fans of one of the leagues but not the other.

I appreciate that the cardinals are emailing everyone. I want to see him in. The team wants to see him in. I've also received other emails too.... but i'm voting for our guy. I kinda like this twist.
I've torn myself apart.... and tried to figure out why... but the only answer i was ever given... that really fits..... is the fact... that women are crazy. |
