Which is funny, since Chavez is one of thsoe people quoted as saying he really didn't want to go.
I asked Bobby Dylan, I asked the Beatles. I asked Timothy Leary, but he couldn't help me either.

| #2 Posted on 2.7.02 2322.22 | | And even better, Lou Merloni beseeched Red Sox fans at the early game of today's doubleheader to vote for Damon. And look who got the AL nod. And was it just me, or did the AL have more total votes than the NL? | v-mac

And was it just me, or did the AL have more total votes than the NL?
Here are the total vote breakdowns (courtesy of MLB.com):
American League Johnny Damon 692,989 Jim Thome 666,825 Eric Chavez 266,110 Magglio Ordonez 179,951 Darin Erstad 122,458
National League Andruw Jones 559,752 Brian Giles 488,725 Larry Walker 297,174 Albert Pujols 267,196 Ryan Klesko 138,824
Total votes for the American League: 1,928,333 Total votes for the National League: 1,751,671
So there is quite a discrepency between the two leagues... I wonder if there is any logical reason for it? At least it's spurred interest in baseball a bit, which can only be a good thing. | odessasteps

I asked Bobby Dylan, I asked the Beatles. I asked Timothy Leary, but he couldn't help me either.

I appreciate that the cardinals are emailing everyone. I want to see him in. The team wants to see him in. I've also received other emails too.... but i'm voting for our guy. I kinda like this twist.
I've torn myself apart.... and tried to figure out why... but the only answer i was ever given... that really fits..... is the fact... that women are crazy. |
