I saw this tonight and I have to say...words cannot describe how ridiculously awful it was. What it was...it was "a lugubrious exercise in patience that fails miserably." The movie is just one great big giant, incoherent mess. Half the time you don't even know what's going on. The battles are so poorly done that at the end, you don't even know who won.
I'm just going to warn you guys now, don't see this movie. Its 3 hours that feels like 2 millenia. Not even Rosario Dawson's naked breasts could save this $150 million turkey.

Pray for me, Vile1. I'm seeing this sometime this week. Ever since JFK, I have had a soft spot for Oliver Stone. I hope he can pull off something semi-coherent.

They don't really compare at all, except that Troy was probably better. And not nearly as painful to watch either. Both were about the same length as well.
I thought it was good mainly due to being Green Arrow focused. Dark Archer is supposed to be Meryln who is a fairly decent C level villain. Clark is a moron.
