Not only is Albert now getting a main event push, but he's got new theme music and a new name: A-Train
I expect a lot of people to criticize this in the coming days, but I'm going to wait until I've seen the show before I judge these changes.
For all we know, Albert's push won't be all for naught. A new look, theme, and name helped many people before. And while Albert's not an easy guy to like in most aspects, he's not overly terrible if used right. Heyman has made lemonade out of several lemons handed to him. I have a feeling he's going to make Albert a lot better than he has been so far.
The name is questionable, but who knows. I once thought The Rock was a stupid name, as well as "Triple H", but it doesn't take long for some things to catch on in wrestling.
Maybe they can bring back Ice Train too - then they'll be the AICE Express. Anyone who gets that is a bigger old school gaming nerd than I am.
In all seriousness, it could work. For a while there, Albert was getting over fairly well on Velocity. If he's given focus, a proper character, and a SHIRT, he should do fine as a power wrestler. Hell, he may even feud with Brock somewhere down the road... but if they're just gonna feed him to 'Taker, maybe not.
From The Mark Report #1(below): "Albert's not THAT bad for a guy his size, and he's a half-way decent talker. The guy is in severe need of some kind of gimmick overhaul and name change, though."
Okay, WWE folks, WHO'S READING MY STUFF? Between this and the swiping of my little joke about RVD and Booker(one probably being in the opener and the other probably putting over Bautista), I'm starting to wonder...
A-Train. B-squared. Maybe Vince has decided to go back to the beginning. Blow up the current fan base, and focus on developing the Sesame Street fan base as the fan base of the future. Idea for next week, focus on Benoit C-God.
I want you to know, I agree with everything I've just said. The Public Demands: Fire Tim Welsh.

Hey B squared could start dating Ivory and she could be I's cubed. *laughs to self briefly then hangs head in shame*
Albert is kinda fun to watch. I was a big fan of him in the T&A days (one of the most underrated tag teams ever). He can move pretty fast for a big guy. I think that he'll do well with this. Of course, having him in the ring with Edge won't hurt matters.
On a side note, I've changed my picture to reflect my support in the Albert push. Go Albert! Prove the smarks wrong!
JR has decided to hang this title on Shelton Benjamin and, seeing his leaping ability, I don't blame him. Who are the other contenders for this status? Jim Ross used to talk about Billy Gunn in the same fashion, I believe.
