Or why I shouldn't bet.

Ryder Fakin: hey man...did you have chance to check out the NFL schedule?
Guru Zim: not yet - did we get rewarded or screwed :-) /
Guru Zim: (replace / with ? )
Guru Zim: been catching up after watching the padres/cubs doubleheader at work today :-)
Ryder Fakin: well, Fish play SD December 11th. in SD...watching Bball at work?!?! you sure YOU ain;t the one who is retired? ;-)
Guru Zim: Ha. Our company runs all of the Padres games on the local channel here (well, 145 or so out of 162) so having "our" channel on is pretty much always OK at work
Guru Zim: i'm usually ok if there aren't 6 hours of games on
Ryder Fakin: in other words..."We'll work TWICE as hard tomorrow!"
Ryder Fakin: looks like SD drew the NFC and AFC East. That's tough
Guru Zim: goin' through it right now
Guru Zim: I see they took our "Boy are they going to suck" soft first four games away
Guru Zim: usually the sched is nicer to us than this
Ryder Fakin: I haven't checked everyone, but on paper this looks brutal as it gets
Ryder Fakin: I think week 10 is accurate of their playoff chances - "BYE". Brees should have bailed
Guru Zim: Well, ok it's not so bad for us... Dallas and NYG should be OK. I don't like the broncos in week 2 before they have burnt out the flavor of the year RB
Ryder Fakin: yep...still too early to call until the draft, etc
Guru Zim: 4 - L to Pats
5 - L to Pitt
6 - W Oak
7 - L Philly
8 - W KC
9 - W Jets (Pennington will be hurt again)
Guru Zim: 5-4 into the bye
Guru Zim: 3-0 division
Guru Zim: no problem
Guru Zim: 11 - W BUF
12 - W WAS
13 - W Oak
Ryder Fakin: being in a week division certainly helps. Although - this seems like one of those weird years when Oakland gets their shit together. Just a gut feeling
Ryder Fakin: weak
Guru Zim: c'mon it's not that bad
Guru Zim: you can pretty much expect a 50/50 chance on any of the division games it seems
Guru Zim: no matter how good the team is. Actually, its better if they have been bad outside the division
Ryder Fakin: Denver, Vermeil and Schizophrenia as competition divisional wise? I wish Miami would be the team to relocate West.
Guru Zim: I'll defer from calling week 14
15 - L Indy
16 - L KC
17 - W Denver (they won't have an RB at this point)
Guru Zim: 9-7 wildcard and the playoffs
Guru Zim: Hey, I called 4 wins last season ;-) You can put this one in the bank
Guru Zim: (this is why I don't bet)

Willful ignorance of science is not commendable. Refusing to learn the difference between a credible source and a shill is criminally stupid.

If Brees puts up another solid year, they sign him long term. Otherwise, if they fall out of playoff contention this year they'll probably bench Brees and start Rivers, who then becomes the full-time starter next year.

NOTE: The above post makes no sense. We apologize for the inconvenience.
