Surprised I didn't see any posts here, especially after the replay last night.

ATHF was FANTASTIC in the double-episodes! Especially the last one with all the "villains" uniting. Great lines:
"Plutonians are teh suck."
"Who named us, "click-click-click-click-click-click-click-click-click?""
"SATAN LIKES FUNNY BOX!"

The whole cloning episode was very funny as well. Business is picking up indeed.

Brak was okay, I liked all the wish conditions.
Sealab 2021 was quite funny with the German sub commander. Liked how none of the characters actually knew German, yet understood parts of what the commander was saying.

Don't get me wrong - I greatly enjoyed the shows, especially the villians episode of Aqua Teens. (But especially the party sequences... Meatwad and Brak performing the "What does Marcellus Wallace look like?" sequence from "Pulp Fiction" with a live-action Dewey and Vanessa was probably the single greatest thing I've ever seen.)

However, I looked it up on AdultSwim.com, and The Brak Show really is cancelled. That put a damper on the entire evening, and I must go mourn the loss of Brak's Dad and Thundercleese.

I caught the two ATHF episodes last night, then was surprised (and happy) to see that they were replaying the whole she-bang at 2 AM, which meant I had a chance to tape it this time ... Very very good stuff, even though I taped the first episode of Futurama when it originally aired, but you can never have too Fry/Bender in storage right?

I must get my hands on the ATHF DVD; it's like the insanity level of Family Guy and Get a Life! COMBINED.

Post-It Note: "Stay Still" for the Screw of Doom found behind the Armoire of Despair.

And he understood what they said too.

I was laughing my ass off when Brak and Meatwad were paying homage to Pulp Fiction. Sometimes it's the short gags and in-betweeners (such as the New Adventures of the Wonder Twins) that are better than the shows themselves.

We in Canada just got ATHF on Teletoon. I watched my first episode last night and was fairly disappointed. Does it get better?

Guess that depends on if they started with the very first episode or not. It is a very off-the-wall cartoon that grows on you after awhile.

PS - Whoo-hoo! Finally made WOTD!

Good Lord that was hilarious. My favorite, and yet most shattering moment was Carl hitting on Debbie.

"That... that is the kind of ass I like to tap. It's got my name on it. It says, 'Carl's Wild Ride! Make all Deliveries in Rear!' Yeah!"

And then it's revealed that he's impotent. Terrible.

The show starts to pick up around the fourth episode, when the Mooninites are introduced.

I'm guessing they're starting from the first ep. It was a strange episode about a giant robotic robot stealing perfume and spraying hair all over downtown buildings...

Yeah, that's the first episode, and it's a little weak with Frylock obeying Shake at one point and our heroes acting too much like, well, heroes. As previously stated, episode four with the introduction of the Mooninites will rock your world. Did I mention the spelling?

You can tell that's the first episode you've seen, because you're describing it as a "strange episode". Brother, you ain't seen nothing yet.

(And I agree - it's like the first season of The Simpsons. It's funny, but it's not nearly what it would become. Most of the characters aren't quite there yet - especially in that first episode. Stick with it - at least until the Mooninites. They smoke while they shoot the bird.)

This is somewhat corollary to DEAN's latest Booze Review, as I was forced to visit the local Kroger here in Athens, GA tonight to pick up a book of stamps and some other assorted sundry items for the morrow.
